New cheap batteries for the Unimog Offroad camper RV thing

Chad purchases new Group 34 Lead Acid batteries from Wal-mart and installs them in parallel in the Unimog U1300L/37.

Perhaps a dumb question, any reason you didn't run the running red wire around the front of the battery so that the black and red in the middle aren't rubbing on one another?

You can run the positive winch cable to the live terminal on the other battery to save stacking them. They’re both connected together so it makes no odds 👍

Yeah, the Walmart batteries are a good way to go...got one for the Expedition after I ruined its perfectly good John Deere battery by accidentally leaving the ignition on while using a battery charger😎 Hot tip: don't leave the ignition on while using a battery charger.
