Get Your Very Own Losi 22S Right here - bit.ly/2wqNtA0 Get the 6ch Radio Transmitter & Receiver We Now Use Here - www.banggood.com/custlink/mD33VJz8zU It's got a built in Gyro, ABS Braking, and a 500M Range For Under $30!
I recently got the car for $60. A shock was broken but it was a quick fix. I’m not sure if it’s the control but it drives kinda finicky. Lags to go in reverse or sometimes doesn’t even reverse. It does accelerate great tho.
I don't really see a big issue with the opening of the battery compartment, just get a coin, drill it and attach it with a lanyard or a strong fishing line to the chassis and attach the coin somewhere with velcro so you always have something that you can open the compartment. The worse case is that you need to lift the Lexan body.
Odd, there should have been a larger pinion included in the box as they do package one in! Same with a plastic keychain coin for opening the door cams and a few other things.
I'm looking for a first rc car. I plan to tow a lightweight rc glider from it off of my grass rc field. Do you think that this one would be a good car for that, or am I better suited with an Arma Senton 3s, or Redcat Blackout 3s? Thanks 😁
Funny, I find the battery slot far too large. Foam around the battery functions as thermal insulation, retaining heat. I'd rather see it smaller to shave weight. The wheels are a definite con as well. They're very brittle and fracture easily; this could be a bad batch of plastic, but reviewers noted it in 2019 (th-cam.com/video/CAfcv2CMqag/w-d-xo.html) and our new 22S SCT (2021) had the same issue) - YMMV. The lack of an upgrade pathway (aside from the motor/esc) and hop-ups is frustrating as well. Else, it's a fun, well-performing truck.
I played ur video u sent me on Friday nights hangout, we had a full house, Kev n Pat n Sluicebox Steve from RC Sparks joined us on the panel, u missed a good one but i'm sure u had a blast in Disneyland
Epic week my friend! Wife set a budget of $1500, anyway after the first day she explained that was for the week not the day! Amateurs! I ask you! Epic week we did the Oogie Boogie Bash on Thursday night, no Q on the rides at all! More candy than you could dream of. Picked up new RC car whilst I was out there as well!

Can you fit a 5000mah hard case lipo in that battery tray?
Well it’s two years later. Can I ask you if you still like the truck? And would you buy it again today if you needed a short course truck. Thank you
i love mine. did you lose your losi key for the battery door? the round disk that comes with it!
Loved most of the truck but despised the battery box to the point that i got rid of the truck and moved up to the TLR 22sct3.0 kit
All you had to do is buy the Losi Aluminum chassis and then you would almost have a sct 3.0 just get some upgraded losi skocks then done...

It's kinda dumb. There was no reason to change the way you mount the batteries to this special compartment compared to any other RC.
I can open the battery door screws easily with my thumb, but it does get jammed with dirt.
Does the truck cog when you start on a high traction surface? Mine cogs and doesnt move on a high traction surface when its on a hill.

The battery tray really lets down the whole car I think, shame but looks good otherwise
Just upgrade the chassis to aluminum. Problem solved
