Umm Abby Nate could you return to more toygrade/affordable rcs for the family but I'm not telling uto stop these, I'm just saying if u could do some affordable rcs like once every 3 vids or something thank you for your time see u next video
Abby, amazing that you were in the first marching band to perform at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis! My daughter is in a prominent high school marching band for our area and I am glad to show her examples of successful folks who have been through marching band, myself included. East Limestone High School marching band has been invited to attend the 100th anniversary of the Veterans Day Parade in New York City and my daughter will be marching!
I know that I'm 3yrs behind on vids and comments but I want to thank you guys for getting me into rcs along with my hubby I bought him this truck and he had this truck going 90plus mph with sand paddles and he put a bigger motor with 4s lipo and it was hauling ass and caught fire and blew up and I'm telling you this in tears of laughter we love you guys
It is nice to know it is 2 wheel drive. Puts weights on the front end that will help hold it down also adjust the shocks front lower, back raise a little. Also in the rear change your shock oil to a thicker wt. that will keep it from squatting down in the rear thus keeping the front end down when you punch it. This just a few things you can try.
Back in the 90's I bought an LXT for $250 and that was just the car. I had to supply the batteries, the remote, the speed controller, the servo, the motor, the charger. This thing is the same price, has more electronics with it, and the hardware is way better than what I used to have. Well done Losi.
Easy conversation kph to mph tip, multiply the most significant digit by 6. So if the RC when 49 kph, multiply 6x5 (rounding up) and you get 30mph. 70kph = 6x7 = 42.
I only know of one that does this but I do still own a single truck they made....even though it's mostly not as much them anymore now with real upgrades that I shouldn't have had to do.,
That might be an interesting comparison, though I think the Arrma Senton would have the advantage since it's 4-wheel drive and is touted to do 60 mph. But ya never know, the track conditions could give the Maxxis the advantage. The "fastest" doesn't always win the race, handling and driver skill play a part in the equation too. Only one way to find out :>
I really like the looks of this and the Senton. I don't have a Losi and when the time is right this will definitely be a contender to join my small but, growing collection of ground vehicles. I have you guys to blame in part for this fine new obsession 😉. Nice speed run, thanks.
Awesome video. Like the fact that you do 2s and 3s for some variety. Love your videos and how you guys always are about fun and family. At the end of the day that’s what it’s all about
This is and awesome truck and yes have to slot the body to help with kiting. And we got 52.2 out of a 2200 3s on ours hard pack dirt run . And if you get good hook up 2s or 3 it will pull front wheels I cant wait to get this one on the rc track. And here you can only race with 2s sad but keeps it cheaper I suppose. Thanks for the great video guys.
What i love about you guys your try to upload as quick as possible or upload a couple times per day keep it up you guys will have a great youtube carrer and cant wait till you guys hit 1 mil i be as exstited as you cause i love the challen
Love it. I have the arrma granite and I absolutely LOVE IT. Dooley is the flyer in our family but he loves my truck. You both are so I spiring and I love your videos. Keep up.the great work
70 kph= 43 mph Yup losi is a great rc i have the xxl monster truck old school stuff. 1st gen. And it still rocks. GREAT VIDEO you two. Give popeye his treat, and Give Amilia a big hug..lol . God Bless You and your family. Thanks for the awesome video.
Good looking truck, decently fast. So Abby you were the first ENTIRE marching band❔❓❔.😁😁😁. I double checked, you said I was the first. Not I was with. I new you were talented, but you never cease to amaze. If you say you were the first band, then I believe you. Nate you are lucky to have such a talented Wife. 😊😊😉😉😋😋😋.
2WD brushless SCT platofrms are my fav RC. Less parts to break. Less to go wrong. Great for bashing. I could do without the bottom mounted battery aspect (dirt & grime will get up in there) but that's not honestly all that big of a deal.
Only complaint I have with this is the Spektrum remote, they need to put some foam or rubber on the wheel, I have one n feels so cheap but I did get sent a rubber ring that a friends company makes n it slides over the wheel. PR SLOTS is his company u can checkout his website
Oh the under tray battery needs to go Losi, once u bash n dirt n mud get in the cracks it gets stuck n u have to carry a nickle or something to open it with
Very cool, you're gonna love that Losi, I bought my Dad a XXX SCT and made it Brushless Castle seen before it had even the Maxamps battery i supplied with it. Sadly he passed away before he ever got to drive it. It's new in the box, but i took it out last summer on 3S and just putted around the driveway, outstanding truck. Oh yea, More Speed vids and battery test Saylors!!
Never had any problems with my traxxas rc’s. Bought a losi mini-t & had nothing but transmission problems with it & swore to never buy a losi again! My 2wd Traxxas slash has been bulletproof.
Robert Fisher I never said traxxas wasn’t reliable, I just seen a bunch of people replacing the A arms. I mean a rc vehicle that’s meant to race always have some kind of problem. Lately people been saying that losi, and Team Associated been making their way back to being reliable.
Y'all probably wont like it but the latrax teton 1/18 and it looks awesome... i ordered him the new xs max or whatever the latest and greatest apple phone is lol
I know i am way late to the game in commenting on this, but, i wanted to clarify a few things for anyone who comes across this. A complaint i see quite often is the bottom loading battery door. It actually helps more than most realize. I own several SCT's, some 2WD, some 4WD, and especially with the 2WD, having the battery lower in the chassis actually helps it get back on its wheels faster when it flips, and does do a bit to combat the flipping issue when driven right. As for the parachuting effect, i have SCT's, including a first gen, 2013 spec, Arrma Fury, which also had a bottom load battery, and a first gen Traxxas Slash (the only Traxxas i have ever owned) and every SCT i have, one of the first things i do is put holes in select areas of the body to combat the parachuting issue. I even have a long discontinued Racers Edge Pro2/Team C TS2, and the first thing i did to that was put holes in the body before i even ran it. Venting the body on any SCT does go a long way to keeping it from parachuting and flipping. When i bought the 22S, i ran it on 3S for less than half a battery before i put holes in the body to stop it almost constantly flipping, especially on hard acceleration from a stop. If you have good throttle control, you can get the 22S to do some really good wheelies, but it takes a bit of practice. As for the 22S itself, i bought it strictly as a hard use basher, and have, frankly, not been very nice to it, and in over a year of hard use almost every week, i have only had one lower control arm snap after sliding hard into a curb. They are very durable, and very well built.
Really like this truck can't go wrong with the price and upgraded parts just add powerful batteries with charger it's a win win situation good to see the family having a great time 🙏🙏🙏🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲💪💪💪
You could use a soldering iron if you have a steady hand and make three slits above the front tire well. Like they do on the real trucks and then is look legit. Anyways I can't believe your kids sleep so much. Good for you my first son. Had the colic. You didn't sleep through the night for about a year and almost a half. Pretty rough when your in construction. And you have to wake up and feed them an two hours before you normally get up. But it gets easier. And the children bring so much laughing in front of the house. God bless
Abby is rad.! join rcbc. You should build a solid axle monster truck. You guys live down with awesome solid axle RC Monster Truck are the thing to race. We R all EXCITED!😁😊 Nate, U need to jump around like Abby, when UR "real excited!" LOL😜😍 Losi always seemed to be king at our local dirt race track. So, my suggestion is to do what we used to do at the indoor track - get some high density foam to wrap around the front with some strong double-sided tape (3M VHB or similar), to protect from high speed crashes. I can't tell you how many broken frames and front-end parts I had to replace before catching on to the foam front bumper idea!😳😁😩 I remember some drivers sanded down the edges and painted their bumper to match the body, 4 better looks, even! 👀 Yes, I love the speed tests and the competition between you guys... TO MUCH FUN! JP😘❤️👍
Its the body on short course trucks that makes them flip the wind catches underneath and causes the parachute effect my old short course truck used to do the same and mine was 4wd I cut holes in my shell to help but only once it was already damaged lol
Try putting a few weights in the front to keep it from flipping. I luckily get permission to do speed tests on the golf course near my house. I hit 45mph with out changing to the high speed gear on my rustler. I can’t wait to try it this spring with a 3s.
MORE!!! Wait_ lemme confer with my "Winston ghost" (my cat is here after death - strange, but he lets me know!). Yep... MORE is a good thing. ( >^..^< yes it is )
I love Losi! My son has a Losi Strike that I converted to brushless. I own an old school Losi xxt that I converted to brushless plus I have an awesome 8th scale Losi 8ight E 2.0 and a Losi Ten sct that are all amazing. They are all in my channel if anyone wants to check them out.
Awesome! That thing need a wheelie bar or maybe a weight in the front. Cool 10th scale? I know they are expensive but do you have any plans for even bigger that 10th scale on the channel? Or maybe more powerful 10th scale. I’ve seen some videos of 4x4 RC’s so fast they will drive on water without sinking. Anyway I love what you 2 do for the hobby.

Dig watching you guys nail the brakes and the truck tracks straight and true due to the AVC

Losi is at the top of my list of best ground vehicles. So awesome you guys got one on the channel

If you have to cut holes do it where the imitation fans are ,that would be kinda cool. Love you guys ,nice to see Abby feeling cheerful
Yep Cool RC Guys, Great Speed Run.
Nice sct! I had the original Losi Jrx2 back in the 80s. It was awesome! Still have it, and ran it last year. They make great R/Cs!
Back in the 90's I bought an LXT for $250 and that was just the car. I had to supply the batteries, the remote, the speed controller, the servo, the motor, the charger. Oh my gosh! That is amazing :-) See, they never teach you the good stuff in the public school system ;-) I'll definitely use that! Thank you!
@@TheRcSaylors I figured it out from driving in Europe.
Better than other certain companies that bully TH-camrs for no reason!
I only know of one that does this but I do still own a single truck they made....even though it's mostly not as much them anymore now with real upgrades that I shouldn't have had to do.,
lol
Who are we referring to? Lol.
Raced Losi back in the day.!!! Great Products
That's awesome!! So pumped to finally add a Losi to our collection :-) More to come on this truck!
I LOVE MY LOSI TRUCKS HAVE A BAJA REY AND A SUPER BAJA REY EXCELLENT !!! SUPER DURABLE !! MY SBR HASNT BROKE ONE TIME AND IVE BASHED IT !!!
When you take it to the track be sure to take (at least) one other car so you two can race side by side!
Maybe the Senton?!
That would be smashing! Friendly competition!
That might be an interesting comparison, though I think the Arrma Senton would have the advantage since it's 4-wheel drive and is touted to do 60 mph. So happy to finally have a Losi!! :-)

Today 72° with 50 mph winds!! I love it anyway. Going fishing tomorrow ;-) 💟
Haha. I'm a drone guy and am not really interested in RC vehicles, but you two made this video F.U.N.!!!!!

Loved this video and your channel! Like Duck Landes said, two RCs and a race!
i really like this format
Do you remember which 3s battery this was? Have this and just started racing and ready to upgrade to 3s from 2s
I’m really digging the look!
I like the 2S and 3S run video.

Robert Fisher I not hating on traxxas I just hate how it’s mostly plastic and sometimes can snap easy. But that can happen to a lot of rc too.
Awesome! Great video! Now I want to see how a Team Losi 4wd performs.
I like these types of vids
Awesome just ordered me a new rc since i had to buy my son a new phone...😑😁👍👍🔥🔥

Hole in body are needed lol. Great video. Just ordered the 4x4 one. Its brushed but I have thoughts to convert it to the pro with the metal upgrades.
