    Wow, those tubs look great, I need to get some water hyacinth for next spring, I have smaller floating plants at the moment.

    Those Blue plastic containers are really valuable in my area, winter proof too. I live in northern Cali at 6a zone, but I've had minnows and goldfish winter over in 100 gallons, just break the top ice so wind flow with aerate the top water. just don't feed goldfish in dead of winter, better to make aquatic life and add to water exchanges for the fry.

    Cool set up just feel like the pools are to big for medaka i have a 40 gallon pond with platinum medaka

      For sure they're too big! I'm actually taking 3 of my pools down since it's taking up too much space haha. That's awesome you have a 40 gal pond with Platinums! is it indoor or outdoor?

      @medakadave outdoor i live in Southern California so the weather is good i had guppies but fell in love with medaka because of the top view personality im new to the medaka but dam they hooked me ... I'm currently feeding them grindal worms they are growing super fast I hatched them from eggs

      Getting colder now in the Pacific Northwest, starting to rain more often and getting to low 40s at night.

      Do your containers freeze solid?

      @superviro I've had the top freeze over but not an entire tub, I like to bring them in before that.

      My medaka survived a cold snap of 10 degrees for over 3 days. They are much tougher that people think
