I'm working on a solution. Trying to apply the things he's teaching to improve other aspects of my life. So far I've tried cooking, finance, coding, and politics, but doesn't help with any of that. Tomorrow I'm gonna see if his concepts will help me stop missing the bus in the morning. I'm pretty hopeful I'll have a break-through and'll find a way soon. Maybe the concepts can help with the coronavirs. I'll brainstorm about that tonight.
@@Floortile83 The solution to the bus problem is to just not use the bus. Just build a crane that transports you from point A to point B in one hydraulic phase, smh.

I havent tried any polybridge, but if I did, I would struggle for long enough to give up without the triangle stabilizer trick, (if its even called a stabilizer) its just not something that would be intuitive to me. I love this type of instructional video, as some day I would hope to understand a small portion of your crazy bridges, so i can appreciate them more than just "damn, that looks sick"

De purty Flower You can play Fantastic Contraption (the original not the VR version) as a free alternative. Many of the stuff I teach in this has roots coming from that game. It's on flash though so it may not be long until it ends up dying, but we'll just have to find out.

Yes. The beam is only drawn there for visual demonstration which will make a lot more sense once the other episodes come out.
It would feel better if your examples actually worked without breaking, but I guess kinetic design is hard enough that simplified version of things is where we have to start. Cool video.
They can work without breaking giving the right reinforcements and such. I only use unbreaking as a full very clear demonstration for what happens. If parts are breaking randomly it could be harder to explain and reinforcing it will just make things more cluttered.

Yes. These lessons are teaching something that doesn't get affected by nondeterministic physics nor use any PB2 exclusive materials.

As of now though, my parents really despise me purchasing a new mic mostly and I barely have any control around in my house (if it wasn't obvious from them constantly barging into my rooms mid-stream and sometimes even shutting them down).
It won't be another year or so before I head off to college. By then I should be able to get a new mic.

@@LiamLimeLarm Correct. The only reason I'm putting it there is as a demonstration. This'll come in handy when I'm building arms and such, where it's no longer 2 anchors but instead an actual beam.
