    This is a quality tutorial. I've been having trouble getting one foot spins, but after taking your advice and practicing a quarter turn at a time, then half turn, without rushing it... I saw massive improvement! Thanks for that tip (and the whole video)!

    I usually never leave comments, but this is the first time I’ve actually listened and fully understood an instructional; EVER on TH-cam. I actually listened to your tutorial on my way to the skate park, and I could envision what you were saying, and now that I went back and watched it again. Your words are very thorough and I really appreciate it! I haven’t looked to see if you have other videos. If you don’t, please make some more if u do, can’t wait to see em!😊

    Thank you for this!! I think I've only seen one other video of someone doing a one foot spin on an outdoor surface and that was just a tiny clip, so it's nice to see someone else doing it!

    Great skater … just started following you .. your video on pivoting really helped .. I’ve been on a Douglas Snyder plate for 15 years .. I’ll take your advice on my my new plate .. might even upgrade my boot .. I’m now on a 336 ! Keep puttin those videos out they’re really helpful!

      Thank you! I'm glad that the video helped you out! 😊
      Riedell's 336 boot is a pretty good boot for skating, it can hold up for some years.

    I want to know if having looser trucks or tighter trucks makes any difference? Or which one is best for spinning?

    • @Andvilsk8s
      @Andvilsk8s  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      From what I've noticed is that if you make the trucks stiffer, you have more stability while spinning, which after a while you can loosen up slowly as your technique gets better.
      However, if you have slightly looser trucks then Scratch/Backspins are easier to do since you can lean more into the edge of the spin.
      Stiff trucks makes Scratch and Back spins a bit more tricky to do since you can't lean as much before tilting onto the edge of your wheels.
      I hope this helps clarify things! 😇

    what are those dark wheels for at the inner back trunks ?? are those a harder wheel like 98A ??? and what kind of hardness cushion you use 78A ? thanks for the video will show to my friends in the Netherlands bye bye ✌️

    • @Andvilsk8s
      @Andvilsk8s  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The black and white wheels on the back inside of my boots are the Fo Mac Harmonies. I used in the back for extra slide when doing spins like the Scratch or Back spin.

    How do you not get dizzy? Thanks 😊

    • @Andvilsk8s
      @Andvilsk8s  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The vertigo naturally fades over time the more you get used to spinning. The only method I found that helps is to just stay still or immediately do another skate move until the vertigo fades.
      P.S. I also don't spot my spins similar to how ice skaters do.

    Yessir...been putting in work on these since watching one of your other vids...my counterclockwise one foot toe spins are getting much better...definitely considering changing my back inside wheels to get more slide for the one foot spins 🛼👊🏾

    • @Andvilsk8s
      @Andvilsk8s  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Swapping out the back inside wheels definitely helps out a lot when it comes to learning the One Foot Spin. Makes it easier to hold longer spins.
