The man struggles with commentary he says…after a long day at work dealing with narrow-minded incompetents…this was the stream of consciousness with Zelda dialogue I needed. Your commentary is unparalleled in my book.

Loving this let’s play so far Bill, it’s nice hearing you talk about Bad Religion again, your analysis video on them, both of them actually, were super interesting to me, I had never even heard of them before but they have some good songs! From what I’ve gathered so far, you’re in a happier mood because of your prescribed ketamine, and it’s always good to hear you happy and passionate, I’m very happy that you’ve acknowledged the fact that it’s addicting and are doing everything to not over do it, substance abuse is a very dangerous thing to fall into, and just as easy to do. We all love you, ya dope!

link waves to the great bay fairy, because she was the one that had a "training sequence" in order for him to "get stronger" for the double defense. It was cut late in development, so him waving is just a remnant. The mastered spin attack fairy also had a training sequence but it too was cut, in theory he would have to her too.

I don't think you give yourself enough credit, Bill. You said that "I don't know" is the easiest thing to say and that's why you say it so much. For a lot of people, admitting that they don't know something is not easy. Whether they're religious, or atheist, or academics, or whatever, some people can't admit to not knowing. People spend their lives learning about any given subject, that to admit that they don't know something about it feels like a failure in a way. When the truth of the matter is that it's impossible for any one person to know everything, even in regards to something you've spent your life studying. And there are a lot of things that we'll probably never know the answer to. "I don't know" is probably one of the most intellectually honest things you can say. There's nothing wrong with not knowing. Where it becomes a problem is when you don't know, and you don't strive to make some sort of effort to try and know.
That's how we grow, admit when you don't know something and try to rectify that. I'm not saying you have to dedicate your life to learning everything you don't know, but if you at least take some steps to try and learn _something_ , it ultimately will help you grow.

I always use the Deku mask when I fight Wart. Spin, spin, spin, shoot, and repeat. Usually works pretty well for me!
If you're interesting in reading a book from the other side of the conversation, maybe check out "But Don't All Religions Lead to God?" It's been a few years but I think it did a good job in breaking down the differences in the major religions of the world.

I would think that even in a world where there is absolutely no religion anymore to root morality in or justify actions with, it would still be possible to create a very basic set of morals rooted primarily in the ideas of "cause and effect" (or more specifically "if there are actions then there are consequences to those actions") and "self-interest," therefore an inevitable declaration of The Golden Rule - do unto others as you would have others do unto you. I'm leaning towards the idea that all morality-based belief systems ultimately started from that reasoning, just some were able to express their ideas more clearly than others.

I would be pay double for this game, if they either made HD version of the 3DS game (with toggle for original N64 content or 3DS qol version) or, bare with me, a remake of MM with the Botw art style. I feel like those visuals could really lend to giving of the dark atmosphere this game conveys so well.

Seriously, Lisa (my bestie: she was born blind) calls them "Canadian National Incompetent Bureaucrats", and I agree. Except I call them "Canadian National Institute of the Braindead". I do think Lisa and I are comparatively intelligent people--I mean as compared to one another--but I think outside the box while she thinks logically. This is why we need one another: I'd be a dumpster fire without her sometimes, I swear. She's also more polite than me.

PS: BITCHIN'! I found the book on the CNIB library of all places. You wouldn't know this: "CNIB" means "Canadian National Institute for the Blind", and the ONLY thing they're good for is their library. They're supposed to provide us with people to teach us Braille and help us find jobs (people REALLY don't like hiring blind or VI people, because employment discrimination is a thing...), but they're useless. EXCEPT the online library.

    1. "Onward, tiny boat, toward the raging whirlpool of doom!" LOL, come on, ladies. You've lived on the sea for as long as you've all been alive, presumably. Learn something about storms.
    2. I USED to get the hate for this place, but now that I know just to follow the pipes, it's actually really fun. I used to get hopelessly lost, but, luckily, the one kind of blind I m NOT is colour blind. Green, then red, I do believe?
    3. I don't know where you sit politically, but I'm an Anarcho-Communist, which is to say "collectivism without government". I think a lot of intellectuals and musicians--so, you, me, Greg Graffin (sp?), a lot of the musicians I follow and a lot my dad is in to as well--tend to lean politically Left, and LESS Authoritarian, because we see the bullshit in having someone looming their power, and, in our neck of the woods, their money, over our heads. I'm reading "The Origin of Everything" (I THINK that's what it's called? It's "The BLANK of Everything"...) by David Graeber right now, and it's long-winded, but fascinating. He doesn't want to analyse why Authoritarian is bad, because that's a point that makes itself. Rather, he wants to look at how we got ourselves stuck. There's this notion floating around, see, the humans started off as families, then moved into small bands and villages of maybe six to eight families, and then into tribes of several dozen, to several hundred, families, all the while our technology evolving with us, and all the while becoming more and more sedentary. But as Graeber says, that's not the way of it everywhere. Many of the Inuk are still primarily nomadic, and there are entire communities-within-communities who operate without money and leadership. They just don't advertise it, since Capitalist governments have a tendency to stomp all over that. Look at Guatemala, look at Vietnam, look at here. And by "here", I mean Canada and America, since we basically function under the same colonial systems. Look at a map of our two countries: anywhere you see a straight line is where land was stolen and divided up to make Indigenous Nations weaker. Hell--and this isn't your fault, duh, just making an observation--but Georgia's one big box, so far as I know. Very square state.
    4. Oh yeah, and this is why Authoritarians tend to be anti-intellectual. Look at Trump. Again, THAT argument makes itself. I don't even need to argue my point, or at least not t o a Leftist. Or...just anyone who isn't a Trumpist, really.
    5. I like Wort, but I'm one of those "kill first and ask questions later" Zelda players. I just go ham on his ass and make sure I've got a fairy.
    6. No, you're not a Nihilist, nor are you a misanthrope. Thankfully. Like I said last vid, I have no patience for that shit. You HAVE hope. It's just in everyone other than yourself, or so it would seem. But that's how depression works, and I'm not knocking you for it. Far be it from me to do that kind of thing, given that I'm subject to the same tendencies. LESS now that I'm an adult and am actually proud of being disabled, which is just another word for "even weirder biological accident than the average Joe". Hell, it's a biological MIRACLE, as well as several miracles of timing and science, that I'm even still alive.
    7. Sorry, eh, what did you say the name of this book was? I'll go back and listen to you say the name if I can find the spot, but you DID recommend "Fight Club" to me, albeit accidentally, and that was a good book, until Tyler starts engaging in the NOT -the-good-type-of Anarchy. No theft, no waste, no violence, and he does a lot of all three. But I want to read this one. And I'm not saying I'm smart enough for the science, either, but biology is kind of my jam, given the hot mess my stupid body is. Name a major organ and I'll tell you what's wrong with mine.
    8. Oh good genes my pasty ass! As aforementioned, hot mess here...though that wasn't genetic...but I do fully believe that intellect is nurture, not nature. In other words, you can WORK on it.
    9. "What makes a person seek out more than is necessary?" Interest, mostly. Like me with the bio thing: because all this shit is "wrong" (i.e. evolutionarily accidental) about me, I wanted to keep up. How is my heart shaped? Why did those seizures make me stop breathing? What causes major bleeds inside the body? And so forth. I wanted to know now WHY, because there is no "why" for this, but "HOW my body works, doesn't work and works differently from, say, yours. If I were to knock you down, for example, to my usual level of blood oxygen (around 65% to 70%), you'd be on your ass, because "normal" is 98% and up. I like to think of it as an evolutionary advantage, actually: I can get by on less.
    10. I strongly disbelieve in burning books, and even in banning them. Hell, if you even want to red "Mein Kampf", you should. I think the most important thing is the discernment between right and wrong, rather than protecting ourselves. Are we not adults? I ought to make it a goal: look up every book (in English) ever put on the ban list, and read all of them. I even read parts of the literal Nazi handbook for an essay I wrote on Nietzsche one year in university, and the thing is a freaking BRICK. I refused to touch it with my bare hands, and before bringing it back after I was done with it, I kicked it around a bit. Hardcover, so no harm done, but the stuff in that book was SICK.
    11. No theft, no waste, no violence, but those, for me, are INTERNALLY-imposed rules, not externally-imposed. There's a difference in my mind between rules and the enforcement of rules. I want to make my own moral decisions like a big girl, and not have a government tell me what to do. As I say, are we not adults? Make your own, live by them, and make shit better for all of us, if you please. And as to what one might call emotional disabilities, like sociopathy and criminal-grade schizophrenia, EVEN STILL, they need to be dealt with gently. Do you hit a little child for spilling their milk? Not to infantilize the mentally ill, either, but if you literally CAN'T know the difference between right and wrong, well, you're like Adam and Eve, aren't you? So you're blameless for what you do, at least to a degree. Sociopaths can understand empathy on an intellectual level, though, which is what I would try to work with if it were up to me.
    12. In my case, eh, the belief came before the label. I KNEW I wasn't a Rightist, and certainly not of the Fascist or Trump-worshipping variety, so, by default, I had to be a Leftist. But it wasn't until I read the first chapter of Graeber that I knew FOR CERTAIN that I'm an Anarchist. Like, okay, we've all taken that stupid Political Compass quiz thing, but that's just a vague outline. You need sharper detail. And as to the "Communist" part, yes, I am, because I believe in collectivism. We're stronger as a species when we're working with and for each other, and not in competition.
    12. Nah, man, "I don't know" is a very DIFFICULT thing for men in our stupid culture to say, because it "makes you look weak". No, it makes you look intelligent, or at least not ignorant and arrogant. You don't know something, you don't KNOWQ it, and why be ashamed of that? But so many men are. You're a bigger man for not being afraid to say "I don't know". But I've known from day one of our, ahem, "acquaintance...?" that you're a big man. Like, what do you even call this? Para-social, obviously. You know I exist but I doubt you care. And I don't mean that in a "you're an asshole" kind of way. I just mean it in a "I'm not exactly real to you" kind of way. You ever meet me in real life, I'm the short chick with the white cane and he bitch mouth.
    13. What do YOU think the "moral majority' is? Because I think that's a completely meaningless term. I'm living on this land right now because my ancestors were the "moral majority" of their time, who believed that genocide was FINE so long as they didn't have white skin. And loads of people do STILL think that way. Ew.

I guess, only two (sorry hopefully😅) short ideas to share
    1. Timeless wisdom, from any source, and guidelines can be developed, and exist. Individual empathy still holds value -
A great piece of graffiti once read
'The price of freedom is responsibilty'
    2. Atheists can't disprove the existence of God, although theists can't prove God's existence.
Either one being true, doesn't affect someone's ability to choose their actions
As imperfect humans, there are boundaries of knowledge that can only be filled with mythology, or theory
It's just nice, when either side considers avoiding dogma 🐻‍❄️
Hopefully, what could be discovered in a journey
    Might hold some fulfillment :)

purpose of life is to serve and honor what is good and what is true, or the marriage of those two things. The highest average of goodness and truth on every level as best we can conceive. Is this good for me, my neighbor, my community, my country, the world, etc.? Does this reside in what I know to true, and how does that effect me, my neighbor, etc. God is what is good and true, or goodness and truth itself, or love and wisdom itself, passion and reason, the will and the intellect, woman and man, etc. and the life that results from the joining of those things together. The joining of the two is love. So I think the purpose of life is love, or our job as alchemists to join these elements in beautiful and creative ways.

Bill, I enjoy you and your videos very much, but this one was a bit difficult with the commentary. I think that one of the reasons that you might not be finding the answers that you are looking for is because you put way too much faith in academia and the system as a whole. I know that you spent the video talking about challenging things, but then I'm the next breath you talk about the virtues of academia and the system as a whole. I have two bachelor's degrees and a graduate degree, and I will be the first to tell you how rotten the system is to the core. 80% or so of academic studies can't be replicated. I'm just saying, seek out your own truth and don't trust the modern civic religion of "science". Just my two cents as a long time viewer.
