You my friend have something special. I have seen it more than once with you. It’s called compassion. You have it for the people who have lost their homes and for someone who has got burned. No other person covering fires has had it. Keep up the great work.
Ron
THAT MEANS A LOT TO ME RON! THANKS SO MUCH! ;o)
You said my words exactly, you can feel Johns respect and thoughtfulness in every video, he works hard so we can appreciate how hard firefighters work to keep us save, all first responders around the world!!!!
THANKS JOHN, Brought tears at your emotional reaction to the injured man, you SIR are a rare breed!!!
WELL, THAT IS MOST KIND OF YOU AND THANKS SO MUCH LYNNE.....
That poor guy who was burned, wow that was bad looking
YES, THAT WAS HORRIBLE TO SEE BLAIR! YOUR THE ONLY PERSON THAT SEEMS TO HAVE RECOGNIZED THAT POINT FROM THE VIDEO! THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND! ;o)
Finally got to one of your video's of 3 years back JJ :o)
COOL AND THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND! ;o)
Can't wait to watch this one later tonight. Looks like a good catch John!
OK, COOL! LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF IT! THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND! ;o)
i think the blue flames mean gas i may be wrong
I THINK YOU MAY BE RIGHT BUT WILL TRY TO FIND OUT! I DID SEE THE CON EDISON GAS COMPANY ALL OVER THE PLACE! THANKS AGAIN! ;o)
+THEMAJESTIRIUM1 I was searching for a comment regarding that and I figured I'd see one sooner or later...I noticed the blue flame burning in behind the orange as well and I'm pretty sure it was gas related...
Great video as usual John...hope the guy recovered ok..
dave scott COOL AND THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND DAVE! ;o)
Great shots my friend! Oh by the way my friend go to Home Depot or Lowe's to get a half mask respirator for these calls, it should help your breathing a bit more.
WELL, THANKS SO MUCH MY GOOD FRIEND JONATHAN AND I JUST MIGHT GO GET ONE OF THOSE MASKS! HEHEHE! ;o)
I have one but iI use it for landscaping due to pollen allergies
Jonathan Schwarz COOL! THANKS MY FRIEND! ;o)

Jonathan Schwarz;o)
Once again superb footage!! Thank you
GLAD YOU ENJOYED IT SOME MUCH! THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND! ;o)
John. I never see any of the women firegirls.
Did FDNY send them to Staten Island and Flushing Meadows? I turned my papers in to the Personnel desk when they hired split-tails on the SFFD. It’s a disaster. They promote them because they are useless. Now they have a woman running the department.I retired. I value my life!
WOWOWOWOW!!!
THANKS SO MUCH MY GOOD FRIEND RALPH! COME BACK AND VISIT SOON! ;o)
Correct me if im wrong but how can you have a flashover when the fire is #1 already vented and #2 there is already visible fire in the room itself so it wouldnt be a "flashover" you could define that as "rollover" but deff not a flashover...... Also gotta love the FDNY and those PASS devices lmao every fire seen in NY you hear them like crazy...... never understood why you hear it more from them then most dept. but anyway good video
WELL, I WAS NOT THE ONE TO CALL IT A FLASH OVER AND I HAVE YET VIEW THE WHOLE VIDEO EVEN THOUGH I FILMED IT! I DID SEE A POINT IN THE FIRE TO LEFT SIDE THAT LOOKED LIKE ONE BUT YOU ARE RIGHT IT MAY HAVE BEEN A ROLLOVER. BUT THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS MY FRIEND! AS FOR THE PASS THING, YOU GOT ME THERE! WHAT IS THAT! THANKS AGAIN FRIEND! ;o)
When your adrenaline is going you don't really hear it. Sometimes you do and don't realize it's yours. Then ya do the the trouble shuffle to make it stop.
This is one of the better videos you have managed to capture, awesome!
That being said, all your videos are awesome, this one just stood out to me.

Brother,John what is that structure burning at the top of the fire escape. It looks like a manager type structure made of wood on the exterior of a brick building in front of the top floor fire apartment. We’re they successful in venting the roof above the apartment or clock loft .Something was delaying progress Prayers for the first man severely burned 🙏 Thank You Charles
WELL, THAT WOULD BE THE LAST FLOOR OF THE BUILDING WHICH IS CALLED THE ATTIC IN MOST CASES.....IT WAS A CRAZY FIRE INDEED WITH VICTIMS AND ROOF COLLAPSE.....THANKS SO MUCH CHARLES.....

COOL.....
@@THEMAJESTIRIUM1 I saw this fire in person
hello can you explain what 1st ,2nd alarm means
+Malcolm Marshall WELL, 1ST ALARM I BELIEVE ENGINES, 2 TRUCKS, A BATTALION CHIEF, THE RESCUE AND A SQUAD... THE 2ND ALARM BRINGS MORE ENGINES, TRUCKS, BATTALION CHIEFS AND SPECIAL SOME SPECIAL UNITS. IF YOU GO ON WIKIPEDIA AND SEARCH THE "FDNY" I BELIEVE THEY HAVE A COMPLETE RUNDOWN OF THE ALL THE ALARMS AND WHAT THEY BRING TO A SCENE! IF NOT THE FDNY PAGE MIGHT! THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND MALCOLM! ;o)
What does RAC stand for? Being relatively new to big city fire fighting I don't know some of the acronyms.
