Cleaning armor with a good audiobook is one of my favorite things to do. It's actually annoying that my armor isn't as dirty so I can't clean it as often as I would like.
So... is titanium ACTUALLY fully rust proof? Are there different types of titanium?? Is stainless steel better in terms of rust resistance?? Please, YOU are an expert in this field, and personally, it's a long life dream of mine to be a Buhurt practitioner! But the fear of rust CONSTANTLY sets me back! 😢
I’d say stainless is the best rust wise. Titanium CAN rust. Stainless is also the heaviest though and titanium the lightest. I have seen scrapes of rust on my titanium in 4 years. Stainless looks way better tho
Hello Grant, thanks for your videos ! I'm new to buhurt, i wanted to buy my first helmet and i fell in love with the english cross type. Some people in my club told me it wasn't a good idea for a first helmet, as the chainmail isn't protected enough (like on a nasal) and it'll need a lot of maintaining. What is your personnal experience on this, and your advices if i may (and i know, protect your head with your shield ^^) ? Thanks !

Wear it on a daily basis, to school, to work, to go shopping, you'll surely have a lot more to clean that way!
That’s actually a good idea!
Maybe one of these days some gnome or dwarf will invent self-cleaning armor. 😬
😂😂😂 Oh man life would be better, but then I'd find other excuses lol.

My experience is little to no difference with the nasal - had it before this one. I've used a sugarloaf as well and that's the hardest to breathe in.
