I remember this series. Iverson was insane. One of the best to ever play the game. He got robbed as he had no help. I remember people who didn't even usually watch basketball tuning in to see this series. Legendary.
Iverson was the MVP and he had the Coach of the year on his team, Defensive Player of the YEar, AND the sixth man of the year. He had plenty. But this Lakers team was the best playoff team in history.

Hate when people say ai was a ball hog and act like his team was built for this lakers team. He did all he could on the offensive end and also had his fair share of plays with assists and steals, lakers were just too dominant
For all the new generation talk about the teams today. You have never seen a force like shaq. He would absolutely destroy these 6-9 centers today. You don't want them problems.

The Lakers were built to make deep runs into the playoffs. They had already swept through the Kings and Spurs who were good teams in their own right. AI played his heart out but the Lakers weren’t going to let a team led by a 6’ guard take away their title. 76ers lacked depth and couldn’t sustain the inside outside attack of the Lakers. AI was going to get his points but it was going to take a lot of attempts to get them. Shaq was a monster with a damn good sidekick.
the Lakers did a lot of flopping on defense and also got away with a lot as per the refs not calling many fouls, the Sixers also didn't use Bell enough throughout the series
