Well maybe I'll get my kit off my living room floor and actually get it installed on my Z along with all the other parts I've ordered but haven't got around to doing it. Thanks for the video!
Chris, have you tried adjusting the height since you first installed them? If so, did you have to take off the shock from the truck to compress the spring in order to adjust the height or were you able to do it by just taking off the wheel and making the adjustments with the shock on the truck? The shop that put them on for me raised them too high and need to lower them, but I’m limited on tools. Thanks man
Yeah. Jack the truck up.. lube them up with some wd40, and you should be able to adjust.. I’ve definitely done it on the truck, but I also didn’t use the spanner they gave with it
@@bobbiebones8917 no not really it tome 30-45 minutes to raise 8 threads the tools are hot garbage and slip every time and starting to bend I’m about to take them off and try to raise them off the truck
I just subscribed. One question thinking about doing this on my 2021. About what was the total inch additional lift as result of the install. I eventually want to get to a 33 tire comfortable and in the future a 37. Then a big trip to Black Bear pass. Suggestions are helpful.
They may have adjusted the coil too high. If it’s too high, the upper control arm starts to bind giving the clunky noise.. happened to me after I raised it more when I did the rear add a leaf, and I had to lower down
Love the video, but omg every 4-5 words is “ummm” ... super annoying when you hear it over and over. Good content and video editing though, love the truck!

These coilovers are impossible to adjust did you have this much trouble?
make sure you jack the truck up so all the weight is off the suspension... spray down with wd40 also helps a little
I just installed mine and I'm having trouble adjusting. I Want to raise more but the tools suck! Were you able to adjust them?

Wow truck looks sick after!
"Hopefully it isn't leaking."
Famous last words for the ZR2 owner.
Is leaking shocks an issue with the DSSV?
