Another day another victory for the og, you dig? But hey if you run out of room In That apartment send it my way, been wanting one since November I think it was when it dropped and hey I'll pay for shipping man. Just busting your chops here dude, but seriously feel free to send it my way. 😂😅
It’s Chinese made that’s why it is cheap. Just make sure the battery doesn’t explode while you charge it and kill you. In life, you get risks what cheap products bring. There is no going around it.
I like that they went with 24 inch tires. It's nice to have a choice that sits between the 20 and 26 inch tires. Maybe more companies will see this and pick up on it. Anyway, thanks so much for the video! I love watching you ride around LA.
I really like this bike. That it's also foldable is a plus. This would be a great shuttle bike to take canoeing but also just a good commuter in hilly neighborhoods. And it fits in a hatchback. Thanks, great review once again.
Hats off to Hey bike for being innovative and introducing a folding full suspension step thru in 24x4. Most companies just copy each other and sell the same 48v 26x4 fat tire. Lectric just introduced a Rad copy that is about as innovative as a rock. It would be cool to see some high powered 24” bikes, I think Fabulous has one. 26 are too big for many, 20 is too small, 24 is just right?

I like the review of the Nomad 1 but I might need a foldable. What would be closest to Nomad 1. The Hovsco Beta looks like a decent bike comparable to the Nomad performance and torque wise for slight inclines and the beach.
I got the nomad step over from a local dealer who matched the on line price and assembled it for free. My first e bike. A beast!! Acceleration, incline/up hill and cornering are great. For the price point I m very satisfied.
Hey just curious, do the ebike companies send you the bike on their own, or do you search out what ones you want to try, and then reach out to them? And what do you do with all the bikes after you finish the review?
That girl is very good at working those pedals. Oh look a hill.. 🤣 That screen on the bike is nice and clear, it has the best screen for sunlight. How well does the screen work at night?
Could you review the alien rides atom? I've been thinking about buying one but there's no reviews anywhere, seems like a pretty fun little ebike just wanna make sure there's no major problems with it
I’m looking looking for a e-bike I Can fold, and put in the Car.For streets and trail. I am Not to beat on just ride. top speed 30 mph or so . I am on the East Coast so bike trails can be flat to hilly. So 1000/w -1200/w Dependable and good longevity . Any recommendations? Thanks Larry
thumb throttles should be able to be swapped sides no problem twist throttles can't swap sides as easily because it will rotate the wrong way once swapped I have not tried removing the stock throttle control and installing a new throttle control designed for the other side, but that may work perfectly fine hope this helps
One of my complaints with Heybike is most are too big for short woman, but I love the accessories. Have your gf ride it , fold and lift. LOL. Can’t believe I missed this review.
I am also a fan of the 24" format. Right sizing what's already TOO HEAVY AND BIG FOR A "FOLDER" *struggles folding/unfolding a bike that's admittedly a bit big for a folding format. Comments "Easy Peasy" It might have been easy, but fell a tad shy of "peasy", lol. It's nice for a step through, and you get a mostly complete and functional bike - just charge it, add a helmet, and boom. Rack looks solid. I'll take it. Let me know where to send my address, lol.
If my new bike has hydraulic brakes and turn signals with a nice big back rack with rear seat. Front suspension folding Luckeep S1 model I believe So many models now it’s crazy. Anyways I almost lost track of thought. If mine cost 1000 plus 200 shipping. Canadian dollars What is this Hey bike cost. It’s sure nice
Hovsco HovAlpha. No questions asked. Torque sensor and quick release front wheel makes it much less of a hassle in storage compared to Aventure 2. Only crappy thing ia the more limited dealer network.
Hey, that front wheel doesn’t look that safe! It just tightens down like my old peddle bike, I prefer the bikes that have the extra protection on the front axle. 😢
Fat tire step-thru with rear suspension is a great combo. With WIRED bikes, you have to give up the rear suspension to get the step through. Sucks. I wish this bike had the higher voltage and controller. They both would be greatly advantaged by Torque sensing. Best would be a powerful torque sensing mid drive (quiet Brose) carbon fiber Gates belt rather than a dirty fragile chain/derailer and it should have a transmission somewhere in the powerchain line, either up front in the mid drive motor or back in the hub. Enviolo hub would be great. I would pay a lot of extra dollars for this set up! But I bought a Heybike Horizon anyway to have fun until this better bike comes. Edit: An optional high speed front wheel hub motor with a second 96 volt battery located in the front basket would aid in deep sand and with high speeds!
I ordered one and it came defective.! I am in the middle of a nightmare trying to get them to allow me to replace it. I don’t want my money back, I just want one that’s not defective.
Going through the same thing now. Got the 1000w version. Mine won't fold new out of the box unless I put my whole body weight on it. Nothing like what I've seen in reviews or my old Hebike Ranger. Contacted support, they told me to take it to a shop to lubricate it like that's going to do anything. I just told them I want a full refund, waiting to hear back. Their customer support is terrible. Don't get rid of the box until you know everything on the bike is good.
@@mgsexton572 well just try it it doesn’t work now for the horizon just emailed them to find out if they have a new one I’ll let you know the bf100 still works for the rangers
Just because it’s a limited color combo and limited numbering, you know that some day (40-50 years from now) these bikes will collectable. P.s.: I’d call is a sunburst paint job, you know like Jimmy Page’s Gibson. 😊
Better get no rear suspension than a cheap suspension. That cheap stuff will wear out quickly and then you have fun with a lot of noises, no one wants. It’s better to buy a hardtail, put a parallelogram suspension seatpost on it and if anything goes wrong with it, you can easily switch it out.

I'm so jealous of the California weather. I have to wait till the spring to ride my new ebike. Not risking destroying it from road salt.

24 inch tires for us shorter people, yay. Probably a little harder to find the tires when they wear out. Love the color. Looks like a fun bike 😀
I reviewed this bike for a website, and love it!
The "Auto" button when turned on is to automatically turn the lights on when it gets dark!
Is it possible to put 24x3 inch tires on the rims?
24-inch tires "YES". Would be great if you review more 24-inch e-bikes.
