Hi caroline, i really wish i found somewhere better to drop this comment to sum up how excited i am with the amount of information i have been able to gather watching your videos, as i am a Bsc. (Bsn, as referred to in America) Nurse trained in Nigeria, Africa who intends relocating to America and thus needs to write the Nclex. Furtherly to emphasize how the nursing commnuity is blessed with individuals like you, i must say miss, you are the modern day definition of Florence Nightingale, i mean you are beautiful, smart, elloquent, stylish and most importantly a nurse. keep the good work Caro!. God bless you.
+Nonso Humphrey Awe!! that's so sweet of you. Thank you so much. I wish you all the best on your plans. I know you'll get there. Have faith and keep pushing forward. Looking forward on seeing you here again. -xoxo
We use this all the time on my stroke unit for our AF patients. The newer anti-coagulants are emerging too but the main concern is they are not as easily reversed. I would like a video on apixaban or rivaroxiban!
Thank you for speaking slowly. I tried to listen to you before but found it very hard to catch with speed but this video I found it very helpful. Thank you
Nice Video!! I have a question, what is the effect of coumadin (Warfarin) on the transcription of genes? like, how does it affect the synthesis of the enzymes required in this process?
You definitely need to have a prescription as well as close follow-up care. This is a medication you need to work closely with your physician with. I hope this helps! xoxo - Caroline

+earthalien77 and.... this all seems totally confusing ....why would some people be 'okay after a few weeks', and then others have to 'take it for the REST OF THEIR LIVES'>>?? ...how can they determine that...??
..and supposedly, there is no way to ever tell if the clot is gone..??? ..seems kind of archaeic for modern medicine----
This was a reallllly good video, but you are very distracting ... I had to rewind the video a couple times... I couldn't concentrate, because I was staring at your dress and your shinny legs, you're pretty but I rather understand it the first time than being distracted. But VERY good video overall! & I love your questions you provide us with!!
You dressed nice but it's distracting....I don't think it's useful for viewers to see you around on the video...your hand gestures don't correlate with the word you're talking about.Very helpful information though.Thanks.
Caroline, thank you so much, you are so clear in your explanation.
Very well explained. Just got diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism due to Antiphospholipid syndrome. Thank you so much for this video
