    Chief's fans are forever indebted to this man. Let's not forget how instrumental he was in helping Patrick Mahomes in his early development; knowing full well he wasn't in the Chiefs future plans. Respect.

    Alex Smith is a role model. Years ago, out here in California there was a missing girl that was never found. Massive search parties for months. Alex joined the search and did not want to publicity, didnt want to take pics of vids.. He wanted to find that little girl that was missing in his community. He will always be one of my favorite athletes. And I hope to see him play again 🤙

      That's crazy. First I'm hearing of this and I guess that should be considered a good thing since he didn't want the publicity. A shame for the little girl and her family though. I already respected him for just sucking it up and dealing the constant offense changes every year, knowing he was the Niners franchise QB and could've said something, but he has even more respect from me now after hearing this.

    • @Xrayballer88
      @Xrayballer88 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      I think he got a fair shot. Not a good shot nor a bad shot. Just a fair shot. You're correct that in his early 49ers days he dealt with way more than a young QB reasonably should if the goal is to properly develop him. On the other hand, he got to stick around for much longer than most QBs would have given his performance. Few QBs with his early struggles stick around beyond 3 years and he got 6 before a competent staff finally arrived. His situation is a bit nuanced.
