The G2 has way better batterylife and better multitasking performance than the Galaxy S6. The Galaxy S6 is faster with app-opening and loading apps, especially big apps.
The G2 though, is so fast, that the S6 Edge has never been able to put even a little distance above the G2.
The GS6 has the way superiour camera though.
Yeah, but if you're gonna buy such an expensive phone then you may as well pickup the G4 for $50ish less. Better battery, slightly better camera, expandable storage, comparable everywhere else.
You can use camera mod for LG G2 with 4K and 120 fps...

I came from the g2 here and bought an s6, for the amount of money I'd save, I'm tempted to re-purchase a g2. The G2 is the best phone I've ever used.
Did not expect this at all. Seems buying a G2 in January this year was a good call after all. Though it's fast enough for me, I'm very impressed it can surely sitll compete with the S6 - even though the S6 has 1GB RAM extra!

I would say yes but since most batteries die in about 2 years, a good rule of thumb would be to buy a new battery and store it safe so you'll be ready in about 1 year when it will begin dying out.

Writing this from my two year old LG G2, just upgraded it to 5.0 lollipop and it feels like i have a new phone. Still works really fast and amazing! But i'm a camera guy so i would probably sell this and updrade to G4. It's not that G2 hasnt have a good camera but i like the manuell option on the G4.
only fuck! i thought there would be a bigger difference but my baby G2 did amazing, considering that i bought it 1 month ago for 300€ (vs the S6 32Gb that costs ~700€). im happy for my phone but im also happy knowing that ur listening to your viewers feedback and suggestions. keep up the good work

Didn't expect the S6 to lose, especially on the speedtest! I bought my G2 new for 250 euros regular S6 costs 700 euros. Great phone great deal. And its really modding-friendly, you can unbrick it from just about anything!

in the browser comparaison, the G2 doesn't show the page until it's fully loaded, while the S6 shows it before it fully loads, that's why the difference in noticeable

downside of the G2 is its slow screen touch latency. Something you start noticing as you use it longer. Your touches are not responded to immediately like they are on a true modern flagship. It's a roughly 100ms vs 50ms difference but definitely noticeable and measurable.

I just got a G2. I'm honestly mind-blown. It's such a superb phone. The screen, the processing power, the speed, it's just unbelievable. My G2 boots up faster than your one too. The G2 is the greatest smartphone ever made. I'm totally in love with it. Plus I only got for £119. Nothing can possibly beat it.

I love my G2 its a total beast. especially with Cyanogen lollipop. The only problem is it feels kinda cheap and pastic-crackyness. I wish it would have had metal build. It is amazing tho!

G2 was my phone until last month and now got S6 and to be honest see in real life usage there isn't that much difference. obviously the S6 is a far better phone. but G2 is still a power house and was so far ahead of its time, and it wasn't even that popular!!

I have LG G2, but i had malware on it so yesterday i rooted it and deleted malware. Now I can delete bloatware too :-) very great mobile :-) 55k on Antutu benchmark.
But one thing i hate is only MT, no USB mass storage mode, it is because Android :-/
if you notice everytime the s6 beat the g2 he says it's identical but everytime the g2 wins it's a huge gigantic deal even though it was clear to see the s6 won in most cases
im still holding up to my g2. been 3 years with me now. and it is still freakin fast! i got my wife a V10 and after testing it.. i forgot about my G2's speed. V10 is damn faster.

To be honest here and unbaised, not much is required to launch up apps and check the internet. If that's the things that you're going to do on your phone you might aswell go with the lg2.

Wtf is up with Samsung's display? On blank pages it has like an ugly pinkish hue while the G2's is clean white. So much for a 2015 flagship. I hope LG stomps out Samsung next year, we all know who makes quality phones.

And if you put some moded rom like cm or resurrection remix, is even faster with longer battery, and you have beautiful personalization like get a smaller navbar, all that for U$S170 that is what I did pay, I believe that is unbeatable

so what makes a better phone is only about being faster at browsing that that the other one? ive owned a lg g2 for 2 years. bought the s6 yesterday and its day and night honestly. you test things that dont even matter. the phone wont make ful use of cpu to open a website. you didnt test any games where the cpu power is most important. clearly you went with whatever suited the g2 lol. even from your reactions its obvious you made a video to make a point and not to actually test the phones' speed.

lollipop 5.0.2 ruined my g2 and its a software issue, my phone gets hot from using it battery sucks and it just feels like this software wasnt coded well, hopefully they fix it
just do a factory reset and it will improve battery by 99% and g2 will run smoother ..
Just ordered my g2 new. I have g3 at the moment but that 2k display eats battery and causes lag. Had g2 but was faulty. Even the faulty one looked quicker than my g3 but froze after 20 mins and wouldn't reboot. Leave it for a couple of days and it would work for 30 mins again.
g2 using a os with memory leaks btw.. use cm13 and compare u will be astonished
Maybe you should install cyanogenmod 12 or something like resurrection rom (Lollipop 5.1.1). It's smoother than stock LP.
