I was thinking of purchasing this monitor. I currently game on a BenQ 1440p IPS panel. Is it worth the change to this? I’m on Xbox series x. I’ve read this monitor excepts a 4K signal at 120hz and downscales to 1440 for a crisp picture in console mode. I welcome your thoughts
if i were you i'd instead get the 271QPX 240hz version, it's pretty much exactly the same in every regard except refresh rate and it's cheaper. you will almost never be able to drive 360fps on a console, at least not yet
Oled is greate but lcd is nowhere dead. A good budget point is 300 bucks for a 27 - or 32-inch gaming display. Once oled becomes cheap, then it may kill lcd

MPG gets firmware updates and MAG doesn't. I'd go MPG. In fact I did lol. Also I think the MAG doesn't get the type c charging and stuff but could be wrong.

Hey Bro one question though. I just bought MAG 271qpx and connected to my 4090 using hdmi 2.1 (which can support 8k 120hz) cable, it doesn't have any signal or images, just black screen. My gaming rig a bit rare case as my 4090 also connect to triple 48GQ900 oc 138hz using display port. what is the maximum bandwidth of 4090 can support? When I switch on the pc, triple 48GQ900 works fine and MAG 271qrx doesn't work even though I updated latest firmware and driver from MSI website. I search online couldn't find any answer for this even the local MSI dealer had no idea. By the way the 4090 I used to be ZOTAC 4090 AMP Extreme Airo. I perform a clean install driver using DDU and sometimes the MAG 27qpx works but one of the 48gq900 doesn't work and NV surrounds breaks and split both 48GQ900 into 2 individual window screens. Please help man..... I am tired T_T
I'd bet if you drop the triple 48GQ900 to 120hz the 4th monitor will start working. These cards support 4 monitors but there is a type of power limit that can be reached going through the display outputs.

About 95% the same. There are a few things the qrx can do in the OSD that the qpx cannot currently & the qrx has some extra usb/charging features. Both can get firmware updates now. The 271qrx comes in a fancy box & the 271qpx comes in a regular box.
LCD is not dead because this is still too expensive. A good budget 1440p IPS is like $300 so I'll say OLED needs to drop some more to become accessible to a wider range of people. But I'm sure that will happen in several years.
@@foundrimc I'm aware of that one but that price is only if you are in the US. For me that same monitor would cost 600€ which is about $630 but that is with tax included. $400 is definitely a good price and personally I'd buy it if I could at that price.
@@Spealer lol I returned it because I wanted a 4k oled. I ended up grabbing the asus 4k 240hz qd oled instead for $1000 open box with minor scratches but my screen and box literally came brand new I was so confused but hey ain’t no complaints
@@HeroPCVery nice! The size of 32 inches and 4k with GLOSSY display makes me want that display so bad. Do you play any competitive games on it? I ended up getting a 27 inch because I hate how 1440p looks scaled on a 4k display, and I usually want to use 1440p on competitive games

@@ronald0122 actually insane, the pixel refresh frequency of 4-6 ish hours is annoying g idk if it’s automatic. My buddy saw it and instantly wanted it, we thought the motion clarity was GREAT and I didn’t even set it to 360….
@@MrDutch1e I use DSR a lot, for retro gaming :) Native 4K will make the issue even worse, I want the highest possible refresh rate :) Preferrably at 1440p.
@@MrDutch1e It's also from personal experience. I have a QD-OLED I bought on Black Friday, and in a room with a SINGLE small light about a bed's length from the monitor, it looks not the best. Admittedly not as bad as in the video, but if I was spending $1000+ on a brand new monitor, it should be damn near perfect!
@@cameronbosch1213 I have a light on the ceiling above my head when I sit in front of the monitor and with it off its noticeable but in games the blacks are just as black as on my previous WOLED. I find the glare on the matte coating on WOLED way worse than the purple hue on qd OLED. The new glossy WOLEDs coming out should fix this tho. Not sure if there's a 1440p version on the works yet tho.

It's an OLED. The minimum possible brightness is when the pixel literally turns off. So 0.

Maybe try with all displays on 60hz to see if it works then augment hz to see where u can go at max.
