I love MH oil paints and always use them because the colours and consistency are perfect. I shall have to save up for a set of these new Brick Lane paints. They look gorgeous!
So wonderful... Yet so sad these colors (and Tunbridge colors) seem impossible to get here in the US. When will we be able to order these in the US? Thanks for the great videos!
You can order them from Jackson’s Art, they ship to the US! 🙌 However, the Quin Purple, the Ultramarine Pink and the New Gamboge are already sold out. The complete collection boxes are still available I think.
Hi there, thanks for your comment. You may find Evie Hatch's review of this set interesting. In this article she explores each of the colours in the Brick Lane selection, the pigments that have been used, and their colour mixing potential. Hi there, thanks for your question. Lightfastness is the measure of how effectively a paint resists fading when it is exposed to light. A paint that is resistant to fading is referred to as ‘lightfast’, while a paint that fades is ‘fugitive’. You may find Evie Hatch's review of this set interesting. Michael Harding speaks about colours so passionately, you know he loves what he's doing. That's why his paints are so great.

@@RebekkaHay I have not found the complete box sets for Tunbridge or Brick Lane in the USA unfortunately.
How about Chrome Yelloe light py34 and Warm Ceruleun pb35 ?
Are they all lightfast? I see Opera Rose is the PR122, so is it lightfast? or maybe not in thin glazes? But love the series 😄
It’s almost definitely a pr122 & fluorescent mix so wouldn’t be that lightfast but would stop fading once the fluorescent part is gone maybe?

What is the meaning of the term “Lightfast”? Beautiful spread of colours!
Don't worry about it unless you are planning to hang your painting in a greenhouse for 15 years.
It's how well the colour lasts in sunlight, some pigments fade more than others
