I am ridiculously excited for the new colors!🤓 So nice to see the a bright yellow and orange that is not a cadmium. Can’t wait to see what else is coming.
Would love to see them used in mixes, wondering if the Turner's yellow greys down like cads, would love that. Also hoping for more earths later in the series 🤞
PB35, PBk11, PBr7 (for umbers) PR259 keep missing for me. It would also be lovely to have some PG18, PB28 and PB29 milled with Walnut oil. (Die Gedanken sind frei)
Mix Turners Yellow with Naphthol Red and a smidge of white for a truly shocking surprise. (*As a side, Turners Yellow so far seems to be an affordable alternative to Genuine Naples and Cad Yellow. I'm not too keen on the greens it creates, but for paintings where light is scattering off of buildings, it's a dream.) Also, if you're reading Micheal, do consider releasing Potters Pink. Some of us collect dirty, earth pigments like Pokemon Cards.
Oh, potters pink would be awesome! I'm not really into the super bright, high chroma stuff. Would love to see mixes with the new yellow. I am hoping it greys down a bit in mixes
I first saw the Turner's Yellow on the Art Life Michael Harding's factory tour about two years ago. At some point I gave up on it appearing on the market. This seems to be exactly the same shade.
Where can I get mh direct. I’ve bought on Amazon 16 plus palate knives and paint into light. Last order came from buffalo. Cost a both. Michael tell me how to get faster I live in Galway ireland xx
According to Michael Harding’s website, there will be another 30 colours released over the next 9 months. No idea what they will be, but if he is turning the pigments from his watercolour range into oil paints. there could be a raft of perylene colours, pyrrole crimson, and most excitingly from my point of view, PBR25 Azo Brown. It’s a great mixing colour. Hope the Turner’s yellow becomes available here in Australia soon.
Hi Mike, thanks for your comment. Yes, Michael Harding has announced that over the coming year he will be adding 40 new colours to his oil paint range to celebrate 40 years of trading. The first release is the Tunbridge Wells Selection which he is discussing in this film. We hope this helps. Thanks, the Jackson's Team
Hi there, thanks for your question. These ten colours are part of Michael Harding's new Tunbridge Wells oil paint range. We hope this helps. Thanks, the Jackson's Team
Turners Yellow - Why does the paint look bright yellow (on the label and squeezed on the palette) here in the video and yet on Michael's site the color is shown as ocherish yellow-brown (in both the oil and watercolor versions)? Which is it? Every other paint manufacturer show Pigment Yellow 216 as a ocherish (sort of dark Naples Yellow) color, not the bright yellow shown in this video.
yes, I was wondering about that ocherish colour on the Miichael Harding site. The Schmincke oil versions look bright but not cad yellow level brightness.
@@rutieldar9713 That's unfortunate. They used to have a real time type in responder. I wouldn't be too surprised if there's only one producer of the pigment and I think I've seen the colour on road vehicles. A mildly brightish slightly fractionally golden yellow (they seem to be afraid of putting full bright colours on cars these days) It also comes in a more orange tilted shade. Schmincke sells them as chrome yellow hues, though their chrome light is now I think just a mix of the orange one mixed with nickel titanate PY53. All this is a way of saying that I don't think MH's Turner yellow would likely be confused with an ochre.
@@Divertedflight Thanks. Michael Harding responded immediately to a further email I sent them yesterday, and corrected the color of Turner's Yellow on their site.
I could listen to Michael Harding talk about paint all day 😊
That Moss Green is stunning. Let’s hope for a Periwinkle 🙌🏻
Been waiting for that Turner’s yellow. ❤

They are gorgeous ❤❤❤
Those colours looked beautiful
Beautiful colors! Looking forward to trying these.
This is so fascinating, what a wonderful opportunity ☺☺

I absolutely hated and was deeply confused by Moss Green first i tried it, but then it all made sense and i absolutely adore it now
Dumbledore of paint

Don't store the vivid blue next to the colgate. 😆
All look excellent, I'm especially interested in the new non-cadmium yellow and orange.

New yellow looks interesting, which series?

Love how he smells all the paint 😅
Keep me in touch in galway😊

I emailed Michael Harding this exact question four weeks ago. Sadly, no response.

@@rutieldar9713 Oh good to hear that. I'll just check their site.
Yes, that colour's much closer to my expectations.
Yummy!
They look nice and i generally love your paints, however im not a fan of pre-mixed colors. Ill stick to the pure single pigment tubes.
pls use better caps, they break so easily
Love the colours yet sadly Michael you charge far too much for your colours.
