FABULOUS performance of this magnificent work by Finzi. And what a place to make a recording! - in Hereford Cathedral, with its transcendent acoustic, and one of the greatest organs in England, a meticulously maintained Father Willis from 1892, that has been only scarcely modified. As the recording testifies, it is an unparalleled instrument for choral accompaniment.
