    Great work, these footage would be seen by future generations. My suggestion, also consider taking footage of other infrastructure projects like dams and irrigation schemes.

      Work is ongoing country wide.. The issue was how to reduce capital in the capital that's why we have outering.. Eastern bybass southern and this western.. And the inclusion of the expressway help reduce traffic

    Whenever I hear green-horns from this region disparaging Uhuru Government with the guidance of Ruto sidekicks, I sincerely pity them. The number of roads on the drawing board and under construction is staggering. We are to see the whole Kiambu region transformed into a sprawling metro area in the next few years. But I guess you can't fix stupid!

      The thing is he should do it allover the country. Mombasa being a port city needs a superb infrastructure even more than Nairobi as Mombasa doesn't serve Kenya only but Uganda, Rwanda, DRC,Burundi and even TZ at times. Kisumu as well as Nakuru needs improved roads and highways.

      But why do the contractors that's China not do proper road finishing aesthetics like the way roads do look in Tokyo,Dubai, Beijing in terms of attractiveness is it influence from gvt officials because roads in Brazil or Israel look too good I feel something is left out always during construction here in Kenya

      This projects were supposed to have been done over 20yrs ago during Moi's time. Including Mombasa roads
      Siasa mbaya. I remember very well during Railas campaign before the post elections him talking about these bypasses

      It's not all red. Every region in kenya is different. The Soil in the Coast isn't the same with that in Nairobi county. In Nakuru it's actually Black Soil

      There are bylaws addressing setbacks and easements. 7.5 Meters from the road with access. But they are not enforced or money changes hands under the table. The result is haphazard development. Total chaos.

      @@afro-centric2653 Ah, thanks. That's sort of what I thought was going on. It's cool to see that it's not persisting in new developments if that's what you're suggesting. Nairobi is a unique city in it's greenery, I'd just hate to see it ruined by unsightly buildings or poor planning. And I'm sure there are plenty of design minded people waiting to have an affect on the city.

    if only the development was equal in all the 47 counties and not focused on central kenya, we would never see people fighting over presidential election results since the president would also be their president .

      @@AfrikanTraveller show me an over 10 bn road project outside central kenya and our major cities then i'll believe that. after corona visit all the 47 counties trying to make videos of such projects you will have no video to make trust me. i once say you posting about webuye and kimilili, dd you see any major projects from that region all the way to eldoret to nakuru, only salgaa because of the accidents and some by passes due to the great north road ,all their work is on the great north road. talking about counties they have done more than the national government has done in most of those counties . a counties like mine was given 9 bn shillings and was among the top allocations how do you expect them to do 17bn road project? lets face it unequal distribution of resources is real.

The region you are trying to discredit is the backbone of the Kenyan economy. But don't worry. Soon we'll agitate for One man, One vote, One shilling. We are the ones marginalized in reality.

      @@williamwatitwa3534 It is equal. There is a mega 172Km Kisii-Kisumu highway project currently ongoing worth 17.5 Billion shillings. The western region has the most expensive road projects outside Nairobi currently. The western parts have the best road network outside Nairobi no doubt about it. Drive from Kericho, Kisii, Mbita, Oyugis, Kisumu, Kakamega to Eldoret & you'll realize how advance the western parts are.
