Nice crossover game, Special moves that work differently on each Sport plus it's always good to have a few third party characters. I would enjoy playing it
Toad’s the best character for volleyball. He can save the ball with his Mushroom lunge from almost anywhere in the court and he can even use that move in Harmony Hustle!
True, it's a tough match between him and Black Mage, but I think Toad is slightly better, because he is faster, his charged spike can't get him outs (unlike Black Mage's curved spike), and his mushrom lunge seems to be faster than Black Mage's fireball spell.
My star team for each sport: DODGEBALL: Peach (Her special move is really useful) White Mage (Her special move covers near the whole rival's court) Mii (Mii's special move is really dangerous, it's really fast, they usually dodge all the attacks and they are the most likely to save teammates) BASKETBALL: Ninja (his clones are really useful) Peach (Same aa dodgeball) Mii (The special move seems simple but I have trouble blocking it even on Easy difficulty) VOLLEYBALL: Daisy (You don't know where will she throw the ball) Wario (Same as Daisy) Waluigi (He throws multiple balls) HOCKEY White Mage (the coin teleports (that's what I think)) Luigi (He can keep enemies away) Mii (The coin is really fast with the special move) SPORTS MIX White Mage (She's useful for every sport) Ninja (Pretty fast, he saves me multiple times) Peach (Her special move is dangerous)
I love White Mage, but I wish she wasn't so terrible in dodgeball. The magic shield she uses instead of dodge rolling doesn't save her from items, so everytime someone throws a ball with an item at me, I have to time a jump correctly, or quickly switch character and do a diving catch. This also gives her a disadvantage when someone does their special move, I have to keep running from side to side hoping they don't aim at me. But I looove her diving catch, that little magic circle she uses is so cool!
Mario may be a bland character, but in this game, his specials are powerful! Go Mario! Don't let those Mario haters put you down, your the best! Make Luigi and Yoshi (and me) proud!

You know, for being one of last Wii games, Nintendo really went all out with a bang with this game, especially down to the graphics.
I agree this game is of high production value especially considering they even got third party characters involved
Surprising that this game had the same personality as Rhythm Heaven Tengoku, which was the last game on the Gameboy Advance.
