I’ve never read anything on this topic, but I am thrilled to hear this question from you, because I have this all the time, and I’ve never know anyone else to report or inquire about it. My wife is a Jungian dream student of many years (holding a certificate from his school in analytical psychology), and although I am not (or perhaps BECAUSE I am not), we have very lively discussions about the nature of dreams. In a nutshell, there are two things that keep me from embracing the Jungian dream paradigm fully - one of them being the fact (I use that word with caution) that dreams often have whole life stories, memories if you will, associated with them. I plan to post a video on my own rookie channel discussing this very topic. I will keep my eyes open for your comments on this and, of course Anthony’s take.
@@rg950 I'd say, all of the above, depending on the dream. All of them are of me in my current point in life in this "reality". Meaning, when I was 12 in this world, I was 12 there, and so on. I've had dreams where I am living a different life altogether but always the same me. I recall one dream where I was packing my car trunk to go on a trip with several of my brothers. Those brothers were my brothers there but not here. We were talking about the discussions we had a while ago about this trip we were packing for. The memories I had in that dream were so solid - they went all the way back to childhood. Upon waking, I was blown away that I had been dreaming. That is just one example of my lifelong dreams experience. Sometimes I have memories from previous dreams in a current dream. This especially happens when I am lucid in my dreams. Explanation: If I am dreaming and lucidity is triggered, my surroundings either become familiar or unfamiliar. If they are unfamiliar, I feel like I was just hit with amnesia; I feel completely lost, but whatever I was just doing becomes unimportant and I realize I only have minutes (if I am lucky) to explore my surroundings. If my lucidity also carries with it familiarity, I explore to see what has changed. And in that case, It is remarkable to see the changes that the dreamscape undergoes after being away from that particular neighborhood for a while.
You have jogged my memory on many of the films I've seen and also reminded me of several places where I experienced terror for no apparent reason.....just a feeling I couldn't shake off.
Hello Anthony, As usual, a thoroughly interesting video! Sorry if this has been asked before, but please can you clarify how everyone’s daemons interconnect with everybody’s recorded life paths? As nearly all our actions (even small ones) impact the lives of countless other people in a butterfly and domino effect, how does this fit with the idea of your daemon warning you, thereby stopping you having a nasty accident for example, thereby impacting the lives of countless other people, all with their own recorded life paths and daemons? The complexities and variables are endless. I am asking this as someone who has experienced precognition many times, so I do agree that fate appears to be set, but I am not quite grasping your theory, so any help would be appreciated. Put simply, at higher levels of consciousness the Daemon is simply an element of a greater consciousness I call the UberDaemon which is the Daemon of all humanity, a singular consciousness that is individuated into the Daemon-Eidolon Dyad. This is my equivalent of the Jungian "Collective Unconscious". Then, above the UberDaemon is a greater singular awareness that encompasses all reality and all the consciousnesses in that reality. This I call the GoDaemon. This is the equivalent of the Qabbalistic "Aur-Ein-Sof" ....... the central feature of a philosophy known as Pandeism.
Anthony, I’m interested in your work around dementia. I’m in the early stages, and my experience is somewhat close to your thoughts. Time space is becoming less relevant, and ego has diminished. It’s an extraordinary experience when u pay attention. Your mum was right!

The Appointment is a 1981 film starring Edward Woodward that that reached cult status, and for a good reason. The only copy I could find on TH-cam is subtitled in French, but it doesn't detract from the enjoyment of the film. The eerie subject of the film is premonition, warning of danger; I'll leave it there...

Yes, that fear for no reason is interesting. Could it be that it is something sensed by the Daemon but not the Eidolon?
