I really loved how detailed you showed all of the differences! That’s something that can be difficult to tell when deciding between cameras that you can’t physically try out in store. I love the updates of the xt5 but for myself I would probably choose the xt4 for the price but also because I prefer the swivel screen for protecting the screen but also because my husband and I take a lot of self portraits and i like to be able to see the framing while we do.

On the X-T4 I could set the video recording internally to 4k 60 and the HDMI output to 1080p 60 and it could work like that, now on the X-T5 it is not there?

Great review. If I had an X-T4, I would find it difficult to justify an upgrade. I came from an X-T3 and found it a good upgrade, but I would honestly tell people using the X-T3 that an upgrade may not be needed for them, too. The IBIS is a big help as is subject detection, but not something that would beg an immediate upgrade.

I did review those cameras, with lots of photos, when they were released. What I aimed to provide in this video was the side-by-side for menu features and operations. Sorry that you were disappointed.
The reality is that comparing photos between these two - even with the resolution of 4K video - isn't very realistic, as their basics specs are either the same (minor differences in ISO for instance) or dramatically different (there's no fair comparison from 26Mp to 40Mp).
