Could you get this chateau on sale for cheap? It is possible. Being sold by Agora Store. You'll find it in the category: All Real estate auctions› Historical monument
This could be dream come true for someone with a vision and money to make it all come true. The fact it mostly needs cosmetic work and the boiler could be very expensive though, and not sure about windows etc? Basement as well of course . But could see this for many things, as a Rest Home, or a lovely Bed and Breakfast. Do not think that the first bid would be it as that most likely does not happen, but can you imagine, if it is only that bid that does it!? As long as they have plenty money to finish it, and keep it going forever with utilities etc, this could be such a dream and would love to see it totally finished and see just what they ended up doing with it? Would be lovely as a family home, but certainly there are many bedrooms to do this alone unless the rooms are just very large for each person as a suite for every family member? But money can be made with this Chateau of course. A Rest Home could be nice as the people would need to be quite mobile yet, but this would give them a lovely place to spend their later years of life ? An elevator may need to be put in, but they could certainly have a few people stay one as this too? With lovely landscaping outside, they should totally love their home for the later years of life! Maybe one room or suite for their family if they should come to visit and they could pay a little something maybe, to spend time with family? As after all they may get a meal? Just so many , many ways to have an income to keep it going and yet enough room for the owners to even live here if they would desire. Of course, smaller cottage, could be used for guests, instead and just go smaller with income idea?
Those are some very good ideas! Judging by the color is perhaps it used to be some kind of running school? Someone else told me they thought maybe some kind of medical place but I don't know. Looks more like school type of institution. It would be a big project but my goodness, big payoff. I would hope! It would be beautiful.
As long as the roof is good which it does look great , and the water and power , plumping is great its cheap . Has wonderful big windows which is what u want for light .Depends on what u want i guess but u have to get help with the update paint work . I put in a bid i reckon u just may get this . Cheap as chips
Don’t forget to Sage the chateau, use to be a medical facility? …have to have positive nice thoughts when saging(think of a Happy time?) and ask any spirits to leave nicely ( just don’t know if it was for Hospice? Or if it was accidental?-or if something from way back when?)
You know I have been responding to you and I love your channel. I wish I had the time to have my own channel. It seems like a very nice area to live In. A plus is its only 2hrs from Paris. It's very big. If you are going to use it as a hotel. You are looking at at least 2.5 million Euro to bring it up to code. A B&B? codes are different and you can get away with doing alot of the work yourself. If yo.u are buying it for yourself, you will need an extra 400000.00 and a lot of spare time and a divorce attorney. Just kidding. You will probably need 500k😁
It does seem ideal for a hotel... and as long as it doesn't flood from the nearby river, it appears to be in such a lovely spot. Hahaha... divorce attorney... you're probably right! Ha! Thank you for responding. I appreciate it. And I always love your support!!
Most likely. The interiors suggest that it was used as a school or office. If you are planning a public use (like a wedding venue), that beautiful main staircase won't be enough. But depending on the design, if the party area is upstairs, you can ask an architect to design something nicer, perhaps opening from the back. @@LetsBuyAChateau
AMAZING! Just go for it. Keep us updated for the final results. Good luck from Andorre!
Awwhhh! You're so sweet. Thank you for the encouragement!! 😊
Please keep us posted as to the final price. I'd be tempted. You will know after you see it. Good luck.
Yes, I will do my best! It's a really cool place!!
They really took out all of any character....only if you want to make apartments
It is sad to see the historic elements gone...

It's pretty unreal to see the roof in such good condition. I wonder if I could Google something about the history?
Yes put in for it!! Someone has to live my dream.
Awwhhh! Gosh, I'll see what I can do! It's fun to dream 😄
Incredible thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
love it..
It's sooooo pretty!

Good call
Yes, be worth fixing up👍
The setting is just absolutely dreamy!
Yes that must’ve been a school with all those crazy colors! Could be pretty! I hope somebody gotta deal!❤
Definitely has a vibe of a school! I hope so too!! I should find a way to look up what happened.
I’d go for it if I had $$, if you got the $$, don’t think twice before sumone else comes along!
Must have been some sort of school, perhaps a boarding school.
I think you're right. Feels very stale..kind of sad.
The attic beams are painted😢 The fireplaces are missing!
They sure did rip up a lot of the character, didn't they?
That chateau is in good shape compared to many others.
It really is! I was surprised at the pictures! That roof --- gah -- in great shape! That's usually what is bad and so expensive!

The stairs on the side are modern construction and need to go.
They certainly don't match. I wonder if the were added as a fire exit... like for code compliance?

wow
Exactly! 😁
let's do it!
Yeahhhhh 😁
Did you list your current house on the market yet?
It's going up soon! I've started putting the word out with my colleagues that I know might have buyers interested in my particular neighborhood.
Post what happens. I wish we had
More notice.
I know! As soon as I found it, I knew I had to share!
I will give them 50 bucks and a can of tuna
Ha!
Flood plain!
I wondered with that river so close ... There might be a surprise water feature in the backyard after a big rain!
It's hideous inside. Wouldn't touch it!
Yeahhhhh.... Lost a lot of its beauty and charm inside, didn't it?
😊
Such a neat place.
It needs tonnes of work.😂
Yeah..... Gah. It does.
You must bid on it. Other than ugly azz colors and a few others it’s in decent shape.
That's kind of what I'm thinking!! Definitely ugly colors lol.
THOSE TILES ARE NOT CEMENT!!!!!!!
WHAT ARE THEY THEN?????
