I remember Fly simulator 1994, it had flat ground with one pixel of size apx 4 square meters, I was so excited to see some 3d object there... now seeing this, maaaan.... if I have seen this in that time I would be blown away

I'm from Scotland and I love you done your research and told stories of the bridge and told stories in the process. Very enjoyable watch

That "bridge leading to an abyss" is actually pretty accurate as we always see the students get on it but never has it been shown what's actually on the other side of the bridge

The locomotive used in the film and in this vid is acctully named Olton hall. It is a hall class locomotive from the Great Western Railway region. The GWR also made a castle class locomotives but at the time there was no castle class avaliable to do the movie so a hall was selected. After the films were made Universal studios and Disney wanted to purchase the loco for an amuzmant ride of course the British said no as it was a part of the national collection at the time.

As someone who lives in Scotland, it is great to see Trev flying around Glenfinnan. Has anyone visited it?

Trev, the quickest way to avoid stalling is to level the wings. You immediately get more lift when you do that. Also she's not a fighter jet, so I'd avoid the 90 degree banks myself LOL

I have been there before, the views are spectacular and the scale of this castle really sinks in. There is plenty more castles and architecture over here in the UK.

I took a train ride back in the 80s that included a rumble over this bridge. Great fun. Thanks for reminding me.

Imagine the face of the students seeing that plane flying: "bloody hell mate what kind of broom is that?"
