Hi, I’ve been playing forza for years and years now, I think forza engine is actually really good, it’s slightly weird because it’s adapted to controller, but to its core it is quite real imo, 100% best balance of real and accommodating for controller As a guy who refused to use any other cam than cockpit for like 7 years now, I’ve learnt to actually race in pure sim mode like this, minus the rear view mirror which is obvs important, in really really good at it if you don’t mind me saying, or atleast I think I am, which is why I am incredibly disappointed this game didn’t include an option to filter lobbies by cockpit, it means I may or may not be competing with chase cam players, which makes a huge huge difference to the racing It is definitively true that the best chase cam player is faster than the best cockpit player, simply because of vision, the more vision you have the more you can garage your speed, particularly around complex sectors of corners with low visibility, eg most of Virginia I think this game legit has potential to be the most popular racing game in the planet, even to hard core sim guys, because it is good enough in realism and also accommodation, it’s just they don’t facilitate them enough, it’s literally a few minor additions to make it this way too If they literally just made an option to filter lobbies only for certain cams, it would actually literally just solve the problem, no racing line too, no assists at all minus manual shift for cars it’s not real to have manual clutch, if they did this, we’ll see serious sim guys pick up the game on Yt
