Nice install! I have Corbeau Moabs in mine. How do you get any recline? I have a cross bar on the B pillar about calf high when seated in the back.

Mine has the factory cross bars as well. Not sure really what the big difference is between our setups that allows me to get decent recline. Only thing I can think is maybe the trailcats are a bit less thick and allow you to sit further back and still get decent recline. They are definitely better than the smittybilt seats I had in my previous Humvee which were quite a bit thicker made you sit closer to the wheel.

Don’t like the fact that the passenger seat slams one into the B pillar of the truck. That is a massive hazard in the event of a side impact which could happen. Need something with no side bolsters on the seat bottom so it can fit closer to the tranny hump. Also it would b3 a good idea to fit some thick rigid foam blocks on that B pillar to add some protection to both front passengers. With a little work it can be made to fit into that area and upholstered with a bit of vinyl to improve looks. Other than that not bad in looks. Personally looking for a helmet top for my conversion and doing a custom roll bar on the B pillar and C pillar for safety.

Unfortunately, it's really not much different than the factory highback seat setup. Maybe you get an extra half inch to the left. If you took it off and remounted it cockeyed you could maybe squeeze it to an inch. The Humvee in general isn't a very safe platform but it feels a whole lot safer than I used to on a motorcycle so it's all relative, I guess. I agree on the foam blocks but there will be a roll bar there once finished, and I'll probably just run rollbar padding like in a race car. I used to get caught up on trying to make the inside of the truck look perfect but came to the realization that these are mil vehicles, and it isn't out of character to have some rough spots here and there. I do want to replace my wooden turret cover soon though hahaha!

@@Kevin24Seven agree but even though it’s a mil vehicle it doesn’t hurt to have a few amenities at hand. Nothing will make it look like a civi vehicle but a little comfort helps!

@@Subgunman I agree with that 100%. Just because it's a mil vehicle doesn't mean you can't make it nice!
