I was their bus driver - this was the last set of shows on that run. It was bittersweet dropping them off - I had such a great time with them and hope to see them again soon.

A hearty "THANK YOU!" for pulling this together and posting! Couldn't make it downtown when they passed through L.A. I saw them in NYC in 1995 when they came over (and thanks to Sony/SBK Records had to pay their own way) to support "Souvlaki" and also saw Mojave 3. One of the true greats of the original Shoegaze movement! Just gotta add: those projections behind them are AMAZEBALLZ! So wish I had made this....!!!

I was at this show! SO many 40 somethings crying...lol. It was mind blowing. The end of Catch the breeze was indescribable.

Great job with this. Brought back memories of seeing them in Paris a couple years back. Now we can see them again with new material mixed in with all this bliss. The opening and closing Brian Eno tune is classic.
Thanks for putting this out. Like other commenters, I listen to this often and I agree this is one of the best records of what they sound like in a big hall. This version of Catch the Breeze is a candidate for the most iconic version, with the repeat of that descending line at 17:55 during the solo, which I consider the signature of the song. Their sound after reuniting is just so massive, it tops the live stuff from the 90's.
Thanks so much for putting this up. I feel so lucky to have been able to attend the show in NYC on this tour. I wish the band would release some live recordings!

i saw them open for catherine wheel in august 93 and saw the cranes many times but would have loved to see them together i heard about those shows

KILLER SETLIST
This is a really really good setlist and capture. Just when ya think you've seen all these concert vids, another one pops up. This setlist has a very similar vibe to the produced "Garage" concert that is floating around on TH-cam. I really wish Slowdive would make their way back to the US, something tells me they will be playing bigger venues than the Ace Hotel. Drop that new album!!!!

@@jaceyp.8457 😂 no they weren’t. I’ve seen Slowdive fans and been to the shows. Slowdive couldn’t even sell out certain U.S dates.. which is why they aren’t too excited to play in the U.S.. nothing has change since 1991.

...it'all wonderful and it sounds so good...like soft snow falling...powerful,sorrounding from everywhere...i was not there that gig but i can say from here,listening to Slowdive from about 8,000miles via TH-cam that's a real experience for all my senses...know this magic band by far...1993 ca....but in the last two years ( from the reunion)..i can say that i've catch the breeve,like never before....listening hardly to their albums,loving them all...long life to this awesome band and his songs;)
