As a women, I love smelling and wearing fougeres. I'm a fan of Russian Leather- Memo or At the Barber's- Replica, they're my go to in the warmer spring days.
You actually turned me on to Bogart and as "Chef of great cuisine" say... you were Bang On with your assessment. Thank you for your research and production. It greatly broadens my scent horizons!
Nilufer is really good. I have also Tiba created by Chris Maurice for the same house. I strongly recommend that too. It's sister company Athena also has a really good inspiration of Tom Ford's Oud Wood. Worth trying especially for the price.
Issara is my all time favorite fragrance, effing amazing! I would never have tried it based on the notes and being characterized as a fougere because I like more feminine leaning scents but I got the Dusita discovery set and I fell in love, now have a full bottle. I get compliments every time I wear it and women can definitely pull it off!
I love "Lalique Pour Homme EDP", and I've been wearing it a lot lately. Lately, I've been detecting the patchouli aspect of it a lot more than before, and it only makes my wearing experience better than already. It's like a musky patchouli aspect: similar to the musky patchouli aspect of Amouage "Bracken Woman" and maybe even "Zino" by Davidoff.
Ah, Nilufer. One of my first full bottle purchases from Scent Club. It's so good, that almondy touch is so beautiful. Lavande is another great one. I actually just got it a few weeks ago. Still several here that I've never tried. Danger Pour Homme and Caron Pour Un Homme De Caron are high on my list of things to try, but haven't gotten around to them yet.
Hi Sebastian have you ever tried or reviewed Invasion Barbare ? Also I’m surprised to see there was no Sartorial on the list. I feel that one has a somewhat amber dry down along with the honey note. So many choices I guess great list.
L'art de la Guerre is excellent. Also, just received a 1993 50ml of Dior Fahrenheit and it smells perfect; looking back I'm surprised how much of the fougere style is there. Cheers!
What's :really: missing from this list: Mancera Saharian Wind! Definitely an oriental style barbershoppy fragrance with an ambery base. And it's one of Mancera's very best! Shining in absence here.
Exceptional assortment Sebastian. Actually wearing Lalique's L'insoumis today and the lavender heart is such an obvious take on the 'modern' fougere (aka Sauvage edt) genre that I sometimes giggle. 🤭 Just like HdP's 1828 is such an obvious take on Heritage edt mixed with a 90s aquatic. Very strange combo...that somehow works. 😵💫
@@ThePerfumeGuy I got mine from Fragrancebuy in May or June for about $95-$105 for a 3.4oz. I definitely think it's a higher-quality fragrance. I hope you get another bottle of it. I'd use their waiting list.
It was again an interesting review, thanks for that. About 40 years ago i had Bogner a green bottle, do you know that? And if you know it, wich parfum smells the same now?
Just a word of advice about Guerlain Heritage; it's so unbelievably weak after they rebottled it to the square bottles. The listerine ones are fantastic, truly, but the Square ones are just sooo watery.
I like to smell the barbershop fragrances on my husband. I also wear with great pleasure Naxos and sometimes few sprays of Un homme de Caron. I am courios of Wings for Men Giorgio Beverly Hills-i just found it at a very good budget price and maybe I’ll order it.
I sadly do not get any fougere qualities from Bois Imperial. I love it but it doesn't smell like a barbershop scent! Besides this is an Amber Fougere video! :)

Done
Penhaligon's Sartorial is another great Babershop fougere, smells great on hubby!! 😍👌🙌 xx
Bogart Pour Homme is the world's best deal. The only fragrance that everyone I ask likes and gets compliments for a low low price.
What a great list. You're an invaluable resource.
Your dad had a massive impact on your fragrance emotions and I am doing that to my son but he doesn’t know! Great list again 😊.
As a women, I love smelling and wearing fougeres. I'm a fan of Russian Leather- Memo or At the Barber's- Replica, they're my go to in the warmer spring days.
You're incredibly handsome😄. Great content, keep shinning
Amouage Sunshine Man is such a great fragrance. One of the best!❤
I agree, gorgeous fragrance ❤
I'm a big fan of Molinard. Such an underrated house.

I really love this series, and it reminded me to grab Feild Notes from Paris, it's one of my favorites as is Dusita. Thanks Brutha, Cheers 😎
Glad I reminded you! 😎
Nilufer rocks! It should be number one! I also agree with Naxos being in the second place.
It's exactly that!! :)

Yes! Guerlain needs to make the parfum versions of Heritage and LIDGE!
This lady has been wearing and loving Eight &Bob Egypt for years
My favourite genre ❤
Yay
Sunshine Man smells like a mixed berry ice lollipop to me. I love it
Smells yum!!

Fan of Lavande. Also makes a killer layer with Orange Blossom body cream from Jo Malone.

Side note: "niloofer" in farsi means flower
Great!! I thought it was an Arabic word since the brand is from Egypt?
Great job! Keep going
Thank you! Will do!
I find an Amber Fougere easy to wear. They seem to amplify my femininity.
I've concluded I like Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense over the original one, but I still like the original one too.
I thought it was discontinued?
@@ThePerfumeGuy I think it might be. I got my first bottle of it earlier this year, and I'm glad I got to own one.
@@regismonkton I bought mine back in 2014 and no longer have any left of the one in the black bottle and I can’t find one at a good price. 😢

Really bummer.
Can you make another special video on *Room Fillers* lol😢😂

Oh I have Wings I bought 2/3 years ago but the current formulation is quite bad unfortunately. 🥲
Wow, good to know! Thank you for your reply!😊
Bois Impérial Essential Parfums - great fougere fragrance !!!
I sadly do not get any fougere qualities from Bois Imperial. I love it but it doesn't smell like a barbershop scent! Besides this is an Amber Fougere video! :)
I would add YSL Opium PH as well😊
Thanks Sebastian!❤❤
You’re welcome!!
Yes both second and first are made by Maurice
Great! Thought so!! :)
Fougeres Are ❤
YAY
Honorable mention: Clive Christian - V - Amber Fougere 🔥
Ooh I need to check that one.
@@ThePerfumeGuy Smells like money! Love your videos. Cheers!
Thank you, appreciate it! :)
Lalique Pour Homme reminds me of Bois du Portugal by Creed.
Guerlain heritage is my fav on this list
It's so darn good!! I need a PARFUM of it now! haha.
@@ThePerfumeGuy I would buy that immediately.
Penhaligons Lord George is so good.
We need Heritage Parfum. 🙂
Has anyone purchased the new batches of Naxos? Is it still as strong and potent as the older versions?
Can these be worn to work and the office?
What did you think of the new Strangelove NYC? Do you know what they named it?
I didn't know that PDM Pegasus is classified as amber fougere. I always thought it was more oriental.
Lavender Tonka typical no breakdown for a fougere.
Masculine pluriel is great
YEP it's great but no amber unfortunately! :(
Hi if u had to choose between le male le parfum jpg or valentini uomo intense what will u choose ?
Valentino under L'Oreal I would choose the JPG. Valentino under Puig I would have chosen it over the JPG! :)
@@ThePerfumeGuythanks a lot for information
Issara ❤❤❤
❤ Field Notes From Paris 🤎 Issara 💚

Special for gentleman has no performance anymore either 😢
🌹
I was so not impressed with Enclave... Smells like glorified toothpaste
For me Fougeres are too masculine.
I can see this. But also with the amber feature in there?
@@ThePerfumeGuy I'll have to try one of these to see if I enjoy this category.
