Hi Sebastian hope you are doing well.. as you are mentioning in this post..can you suggest a few room filling perfume.. Looking to buy it. From Dubai. As per my perspective after Dior Parfum you are very attracted to this bottled absolu in Designer. Can I buy bottled absolu?? Thanks.
Absolu is an “absolute” beast of a fragrance! Longevity, projection is unbelievable… if this was in a niche branded bottle it would sell for £250 easily… it’s an amazing scent for the price!
@@adhyantorokusumo7451 it’s better than the elixir… it’s dark a mysterious but NOT in an Arabic oud way… it’s just different, I can’t even compare it to anything which is good! Niche!
Thanks for the vid! Can't wait to try this one. ANYONE who has followed your vids understands that it is the patchouli note in this that does it for you!
I knew there would be a day that one of my favorite brands Hugo Boss would do their big one. People use to sleep on them because of projection and longevity but they’re getting the just do they deserve.
I was just about to say, Fifty Four has that Patchouli/Davana combo and I think the Davana tempering the Patchouli is the key for me. I love that combo now. Discovering niche fragrances, first at Le Labo and then through your videos has been an epiphany for me. Now my designer bottles are off to the side and my perfume bar is dominated by indies. I can walk to our Macy's and will put this on the sample list for my next trip there. Now I am intrigued! 😍
I have the elixir and think it's great. Very, very long lasting on clothes. I wasn't excited by the release of absolu until I watched your video. Now I intend to get my nose on it ASAP. Thanks!
This fragrance (Absolu) absolutely caught me off guard! It’s so good!, I get also a chocolately vibe from this, anyone else?. This fragrance puts me in the mind of Les Indemodables- Vanille Havane, not off the initial spray, because Vanille Havane is more boozy off the top, but the resemblance is more in the drydown for me, not a 1:1 by no means, but maybe a good alternative.
I have the Elixir and Absolu. Elixir is my favorite of the two. Was considering returning the Absolu, but It’s since gotten me compliments. I’m keeping it lol
i test the 3 elixirs on my Levis’s trucker Jacket twice. and out of the 3 elixirs the triumph elixir lasted and project most. i didn’t wash the jacket for a month and they are absolutely beast kind of perfume. i hid it in my closet and everytime i open it, the smells lingers. amazing! for me triumph elixir is the best of the 3 and it has just the right kind of sweetness for me than the absolute which is kinda over sweet smelling.
I’ve been testing Absolu every day since the release in Europe, and was gonna be strong and say no. But … it’s not possible! It’s just insanely delicious! It lasts oh so long! And … layering it 50/50 with 705 Leather & Oud from N.C.P. Olfactives is just INSANE!!! It’s like seeing a double rainbow. 😭🤤 Boss bottled Elixir is pure luve, I actually think it’s one of the best I’ve smelled & Absolu are just ridiculously phenomenal! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Absolu daytime/work, Elixir evening. Triumph … it’s a bit different, but I really like it! Three of my favourites.
I personally find it very unpleasant, I wouldn't want to be cought smelling like that anywhere. I own Elixir and Triumph Elixir and those are way way way better than Absolu
@@demirkazanasmaz6097 Have you worn it on skin? I can see picking up a lot of sweetness from a test strip but it’s not that sweet on the skin. At least not on my skin.
I have the Elixir and that’s great. I have worn Absolu. I was able to sample at Sephora. It smells great to me. I really enjoyed it and the performance was strong also. I’m definitely going to get this when it comes back in stock.
I wouldn’t say one isn’t just as good as the other because that’s subjective (though I prefer BBA far more), but they are rather different things. If he would have said PDM Carlisle is just as good, that would have made more sense.
I still haven't properly smelled it, only in stores. As someone that absolutely despised Bottled for many years, I thought Elixir was magnificent and better than Absolu on first impression. Reminded me of Interlude, but lighter.
For me the Elixir takes the crown still. Absolu is good too, but I would not put it above the Elixir, rather the other way around. Similar to Le Male Le Parfum for me still standing above Le Male Elixir.
Off topic but could you do a video on a perfume house ' Testament Collection London '? I don't see many people talking about them, not sure why as most of their perfumes are strong and fragrant 😀
I got this a while before it launched but this is sooooooo strong. 2 sprays is literally all you need and even that is too much lol. Sadly it's just too much for me and I love my perfumes with a good projection, but this is too strong.
Imho elixir is better. The spicy aspect works with the bitter brownness. In absolu, there's more of a sweetness that takes away from the niche leaning elixir
The initial few minutes I liked but then I thought it was unpleasant and generic. I absolutely adored your other Boss recommendation, Magnetic Musk, I waited and waited until Boss recently offered 20% off and got it. Amazing, DHP with honey. But I didn’t like this one at all I’m afraid (apart from the initial moments). It’s been a bit hyped in my opinion. Thank you for your videos, so entertaining and informative 😀 and my go to when I’m looking into a new fragrance.
From my boss collections, I've noticed they are great for an hour or two, then become base. And generic as you said. They have good performance though, the upper end of designer, but yea a bit generic after an hour or two

As per my perspective after Dior Parfum you are very attracted to this bottled absolu in Designer. Can I buy bottled absolu??
Thanks.
Just bought it and it's super beast mode, it lasts over 12 hours on my skin. Smelles really good too
Bought it, and yes, it is great.
Wow Sebastian - I have never heard you so exuberant about a fragrance - definitely going to sample this as soon as possible !
Hope you like it! It's a great designer fragrance! :)

100% correct on Absolu. Elixir is excellent, but this tops it.
Yes!!
Bought it at Macy's with an added 20% discount! Solid release!🤓
Whoa. Nice re 20% off!! It's such a great release for sure!! :)
How did you get a 20% discount rather than the usual 15%?
ABSOLUtely fantastic fragrance from BOSS!
It is amazing. Best in probably 5 years or more
As I said in the other video I need to try this one. Thank you Sebastian!!!
Seems like Followed by Kerosene is turning into a sort of reference fragrance for performance in the fragrance world.
Boss makes great designer scents. I still have og scent magnetic EDP. great long lasting unique sweet gourmet
Ordered a 100ml of Absolu before the video finished…
I hope you like it!! 😀
Is it the Parfum intense?
😂😂😂

Para mi, mejor aún que Triump Elixir y Elixir, uno de los mejores últimos lanzamientos diseñador y también de la línea Boss Bottled
Hi Sebastian.have you tried Hugo Boss the collection Elegant vetiver?
Man it's amazing
I blind bought this when it came e out as I loved the elixir and I agree with you this stuff smells amazing.
Yes. So good!!
Great content
heavy on the patchouli which reminds me of Mancera's Red Tobacco. Both are Beasts! Awesome fragrances.
So much more going on with BBA though.
Can't to try it!
Best designer release of 2024
Is it a edp or a parfum?
It's pretty overrated, way to sweet for me. It smells like a syrup

The Elixir was or is awsome too
The Elixir was really good until this one! :)
yes, macys do have it.
shoppers drugmart have the boss bottle absolu
What about the Scent Elixir? Where does that rank amongst these?
I miss it too
My opinion
is scent Elixer the best.
I bought a 200ml bottle
They have the 200ml?
@ThePerfumeGuy yes I just got it ! Coundlt resist getting the bigger size
They should bring this out in a different bottle and sell it as a limited version Parfum 😳
It’s very good. I just bought it.
I give it an 8.5 out of ten.
Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privee’ is just as good.
BBA is much more masculine. Especially in the dry down.

Smells like the lady’s fragrance ‘Angel’.
Its fantastic
YES. Totally agree! :)

Saw it at macys last week in NY
I think it launched after I shot the video as I didn't see it anywhere but Hugo Boss store but now it's everywhere. :)
Absolu has a Layton vibe for me
I can see this
Have you tried out the Kenzo Homme line by Quentin Bisch?
It’s on Macys Sebastian
How does this compare to say Gucci Guilty Absolute
Wow 🤔 💨💨💨💨💨 I'm going to check it out 😅
You have the Zara Vibrant Leather & Tobacco Elixir , how close is to this one ? what do you think ? tnx
Going to Germany soon and will be grabbing a bottle! I did find it but they were not supposed to carry it so they wouldn’t sell it to me.
That's strange! :(

Agreed
Elixir is the best
Got this one on Notino for 115 euro 100ml bottle 💪😏
Nice one!
Can somebody tell which Hugo Boss to be bought from old releases for longevity, projection and notes
What about the red bottle elixir? Is that sold in Europe only?
Maybe you’re talking about The Scent?
If he says a designer fragrance is good. Then I have to get my nose on it🤷
When is Triumph Absolu coming out? 😆😆😆
Off topic but could you do a video on a perfume house ' Testament Collection London '? I don't see many people talking about them, not sure why as most of their perfumes are strong and fragrant 😀
I haven't heard about them or have access to their fragrances. Will have to research! :)
Is it worth getting this if I have the elixir ?
They are different this is not as sweet more patchouli forward fresher and more wearable than elixir!
Same wheelhouse to my nose… but not totally redundant
I'm gonna have to try this out. The first elixir was my favorite from the line
I thought it smells like a slightly more wearable Intense Red Tabaco, anybody thought so too?
Noses are different they pick up different things. So if you think it does then for sure it does. To me it doesn't actually. :)
Red Tobacco did not impress me much. I wouldn’t bother touching it when fragrances like Bottled Absolu (and others in that territory) exist.
Is Absolu really that good? Everyone is hyping it up
It is VERY good, but it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.
If you like strong intens perfum yes
do more tom ford
I'm discussing a Tom Ford in today's video: th-cam.com/video/3eNIIVCFwcQ/w-d-xo.html
Ok now I have to get my nose on this one.
I wonder if it’ll degrade niche fragrances with similar scent profiles
?
I did not like the Absolu, regret buying it, Elixir is my favorite.
Looking forward to putting my nose on the Bottled Absolu.
It's really good, let me know what you think!
I got this a while before it launched but this is sooooooo strong. 2 sprays is literally all you need and even that is too much lol.
Sadly it's just too much for me and I love my perfumes with a good projection, but this is too strong.
That strong? Have you tried Followed?

When I smell it I have a vmit reflex..
Stop wearing fragrance then!
@ThePerfumeGuy I'm not kidding. It smells terribly. Will have to return it.
I tried the absolu. Can’t stand it. Not sure what you like about it. But that’s how it goes. Everybody has their scents they like.
That $140 though
Imho elixir is the best, then absolu, then triumph.
Got it for my 25 year old son, tried it and he hates it. It was ok for me. Not the fragrance of the year. Sorry.
If the original Boss has apple notes, I wonder how this will come out if layered with Parfums de Marly Greenley?
What do chicks and normies think? Because if I can’t wear it around my wife or at work without choking people out then what’s the point?
I don't wear fragrance for others! ;)
Annick Menardo is changing the game for Hugo Boss
I agree. She's amazing. Except for the Parfum.

Can’t match niche concentrations. Amber oud gold edition Al haramain ‘hold my beer’
That one is women perfume
@ unisex
What are some popular DESIGNER reffrence fragrances, to come to terms with what patchuli smells like?
I own about 300 high-end designers, but I'm new to niche. Would Xerjoff also qualify as a house that makes 40-plus percent concentrations???
Amouge are the strongest , but not mass pleasing
Bought a made in Spain bottle which is no where close to German bottles. Be aware the origin affects the longevity and silage
Wow
Went to Dilliards today and tried it...kind of overrated in my opinion.
Its red tabacco.. Come on
Naa
