To the far left is Toll Road (in Yale, BC). This was the original Fraser Canyon Highway (aka Cariboo Road) built 1924-25. Above this site is the Yale Tunnel of 1963 for the modern Trans-Canada Highway which replaced the old road. The retaining wall in view is also dated 1963. The Canadian Pacific Railway tunnel is dated 1905.
It should. It’s the main line from the Pacific coast to the rest of Canada. This CP track runs on the north side of the Fraser River (until Cisco/Siska) running eastbound trains. The Canadian National (CN) tracks on the south side of the river run trains westbound. The tracks use concrete ties (Japanese?) for durability due to the frequent, heavy loads.
Nice one for the Canyon Collection. I see that CPKC still hasn't reacted to my memo ( I really did send them an email) about dirty looking power. I also said that the 7000 series should be in the lead over skanky GE's. More so if a 7000 has heritage paint.
Nice catches through the Yale tunnels!
Very Awesome Catch Tyson! I remember seeing this on your first live stream!
That’s right!
Great video!
Thanks for watching!

That tunnel line sure is busy. I hope it stays that way. 😊
