Spectacular video again Tony. Beautiful scenery with trains running through it. You are lucky that bird didn't take out your drone. Kind of looked like a Peregrine Falcon.
I have not seen many drone shots from this area that I drove through in May, so thanks for providing! We drove through Yale town in May, rather sad to see, strange to think about in the 1860s it was the biggest west of Chicago and north of San Fransisco with 1000s of gold seakers from USA. Looking forward to your next videos from the canyons! I think you saw us on the Revelstoke camera when we sat watching trains there ;)
@@richardk5849 this was really a unique spot when I go back there I will be setting up between the two main tunnels where the road runs alongside the tracks are much better vantage point for the ground cameras at least
Another great video Tony and thanks for sharing. Meriachee would love the opening where you fly around the mountain on the CN side revealing much of the Fraser. Glad the hawk only made a brief appearance and went on its way 🙂. The Yale tunnels are really cool and the drone gives a great perspective.
did you photo hells gate as went down on the cable car here for clam chowder at the cafe. used that highway many times during my 2 visits to British Columbia. Have many photos of Expo rail held in Vancouver yard Caroline
@@gradnitzersl Thanks, I have red reflective tape on the drone and birds don’t like that so they keep their distance usually. So ya this was a bit too close for sure
Crazy good as usual Tony. How high was the drone when filming? Your control over the drone in that location is so good as the wind and the air currents in " The Canyon" can be very wild at times or most of the time. In the previous video the opening shot from the drone was taken from what altitude ?
I am a various heights but the max I am allowed to go is 120m (400ft) off the point where I launch. Opening shot on the previous video would have been at a height of 117m
You’ve done your research to pick great locations. Well done Tony.
@@kenstevenson4133 thanks, it can be hard to find good locations just relying on Google maps. I had help

Watching your videos is like looking for Waldo. Always looking for your car on some obscure side road when you fly over it.

Tks for the info. Looking forward to tomorrow's video.
The Canadian Pacific Railway was built because some rowdy American prospectors decided to hoist the stars and stripes in Yale BC one night 😮
To me, Canadian Pacific Rwy is NEVER referred to as the bastardized name of "CPKC" .
They will always be known to me as Canadian Pacific but the reality is it’s CPKC and that’s just it
Hey Tony what's going on in Jasper? 😪
All I know is whats on the news, No official reports as of yet to the extent of the damage but its not good.
I read in the paper (Vancouver Sun) that CN has resumed operations. Not sure about near Golden BC with CPKC yet
@@rafterman3712 yes, trains are moving now with crew change happening in Hinton.
