I do have a question. At 3:37, is that a magneto for the electric lights?

It's a steam dynamo
It's like how you can turn an electric motor and it generates electricity and you spin it with a steam turbine

Its a generator except for run by steam, There's a rotor inside with copper windings with magnets on the outside shell around the rotor simular to how a generator that powers your home when the power goes out but instead of being powered by a gas or diesel engine its run off steam pressure from the boiler. The steam setup is simular to how a turbo works on a gas or diesel engine except for its being run by steam.

A magneto is on older gas engines such as the old international tractors or John Deere 2 cylinders as well as other assorted things. That delivers spark to a spark plug or distributer on an engine and keeps it running, Dont think a magneto would keep a light running if it did it would sure flicker a lot
