Tethrd is extremely over rated. They ARE the Chinese quality product corporation of the hunting industry. They have only been out a few years and have had thousands recalls on 2 different items.
I have been using the Workhorse Saddle over the last few weeks and it has legitimately taken the place of my more expensive saddles. Not as feature rich but plenty comfortable. Everything you need, nothing you don't.
The Workhorse saddle is the saddle in this video under the new Grit line from Tethrd. Think of it how Mathews makes Mission bows: more budget friendly, still a great company that makes them.
I've been trying to find out, asked everywhere and nobody is saying anything. So I'm just going to assume it's overseas since anytime it is US made they state it .
It's not a jab. It's business. Things like this take many months to over a year to come to market. Tethrd had this line in the works ling before the video series was public.
@@amandashaffer7278 What a crazy coincidence huh? Like almost statistically impossible… two companies just by chance picking the same random word like Grit, which isn’t really a word you’d expect in a saddle…
lol no definitely not he said just the saddle recliner and 2 ropes 299$ the predator platform will probably be about 150-200$ the sticks will probably be around 200$ my guess
The $299 is for the saddle, ropes, and recliner band. With the usual Phantom that's well over $400. The platform will be the same pretty much as the original Predator platforms, and the sticks around or just under $200.
The going rate for most saddles is in that ball park but I think what you’re getting here is far superior for the price. I have a wild edge berserker and it was in that range but came with no ropes no bags. Just a saddle. This is a great deal and Tethrd is the GOAT of saddle hunting.
This just made my day I was getting ready to buy a elite phantom. This will save me some money. The only problem is it probably won’t be out until the middle of summertime.
Why would they want tethrd quality, they've been in business like a few years and already have had thousands of recalls on 2 different products they manufactured!.... 😅🤔
Man "just under 2 lbs" for the sticks seems unimpressive to me. I was hoping these would be in the 1 to 1.5 lbs range. It would be hard to justify buying these when I can get the Latitude sticks around the same price and they only weigh 19 oz.
Neither the Lockdown or Predator XL are going anywhere! They are still part of the Tethrd line. Think of this like how Mission is made by Mathews. Totally different lineup, same great company that oversees and makes the product.
"Grit" oh! like the latitude Grit series. Cool. They're a competitor in this field?? Guessing that wasn't a coincidence!?
I myself am still confused about this name for the lineup!

Who makes those?

Big fan of the pockets. Im putting the Workhorse Saddle on my list of gear for this next season. Its perfect for what Im wanting to do.
I like the color on the platform and sticks.
Great work gents! Really great for the brick and mortar stores too! Win win!
Killed it!
Okay Carl what products of the line is made in the USA 🇺🇸
I've been trying to find out, asked everywhere and nobody is saying anything. So I'm just going to assume it's overseas since anytime it is US made they state it .
Looks like they just changed color schemes of some things and I hate integrated pockets because I need to be able to put them where I want/need them
What's the pricing on the sticks and the platform?
Just my guess based on previous models sticks will probably be around 200$ and platform I’d say between 150-200$
Stefan got it right! Around $189 for the sticks and just south of $200 for the platform.
@@averagejackarchery dang I’m good! 😂
@@averagejackarcherymade in usa?
this is awesome, any updates on retail dates
He mentions in the video at the end. Dealers are currently buying and will have in stores this Summer.
Interesting to name this line the same as Latitude’s TH-cam series name… sure it’s not a jab

When he mentioned 299 is that for the entire kit? Platform sticks and saddle with ropes? Thanks for sharing brother

Guess I’ll have to get a spare platform just because I like the color. Lol
What is the price on the sticks?
I believe they will be around $189 mark.
Can't wait to hear what they consider an "affordable" option
Saddle will be $350 instead of $400
he said 299...
@@richardmacias624 that's the saddle. He didn't mention the price of sticks or the platform..
Obviously this line is meant to compete against Hawk and XOP, which makes sense.
But I'm wondering where these are made ?

I think they nailed it and opened the door for folks that want tethrd quality but couldn’t get pass the money side.

@@ayetoven4207 The only one I knew of was the One stick. I think they made it right quickly. My opinion though. I still hold Tethrd in high regard.

Very much aware.. I’m referring to the fact that I just bought a predator xl platform RIGHT BEFORE they offer a painted version lol
Tethrd has sub par quality
Don't like Mossy Oak..thanks
