Like so many women, I decided to give up being a blonde during Covid, and finally embrace being grey. I really do like it! But I felt I had lost my glow, and was suddenly “invisible” as you say. But thanks to discovering you, Margaret, my 80+ self is having such fun with trying different makeups and different, brighter coloured tops. Such fun, and I’m so much more “out there”. Enjoyed this video. Eyebrows have been my problem all of my life. Please do a video dealing with eyebrows. Include those ugly white hairs that pop up in that area.
Please never change! I really dislike when watching a makeup video and I need particular brushes for everything. They make everything so complicated! Same with contour, highlighter, glow, finishing powder etc. it’s all just too much! That’s why I love your videos, just a few steps. And you look like you just a bit fresher! I’m nearly 60 and getting back into makeup and I just want it to be simple. Thanks

It’s not to say I do not enjoy watching some of the very talented makeup artists and how they can create a work of art in their faces, but I am always looking for ways to simplify my everyday makeup routine! Ayurvedic skin oil, sunscreen (acts as a primer) with foundation mixed in, eyebrows, eyeshadow, mascara, blush (my favorite item) and lipstick (despite a mask), all done!! Will time this soon. The best to you Margaret, always a treat.
I’ve just discovered you, Margaret! I’m 73, and want to to a 5 minute face, too. But my skin has dried so. It’ll even flake. And it used to be oily! Things do change! So, powders are the enemy, and liquids are troublesome. Tinted moisturizers might be best, but I must use a concealer, as the inner corners are blue/black from sinuses. I’m unsure how to use with tints (under or over), as to not rub off. I’m hopeful some of my moisturizers will help with a smooth base, but am unsure about using primers, adding even another layer, yet. Your recommendations for shadows, mascara and pencil are so helpful. I’m interested in cool colors for hazel eyes and white hair. Thank you for doing this updated video! Best, Linda

Great get ready quick and go suggestions. Love the True Match Nude. I can’t get the age perfect foundation to look nice on my skin but the True Match is very pretty. Love your blush and lippie too.
I got lucky (or so I thought) with Revlon Colorstay Light Cover Foundation in Buff. But it turned out to be too light! I usually get too dark. A nice finish, though. And it didn't irritate.
Margaret, you are so easy to listen and learn from. Ever since the pandemic, I’ve started watching various makeup videos. You wouldn’t think at 68, I am still comparing myself to other women. I feel bombarded with so many makeup techniques and products. I feel a bit overwhelmed and never satisfied with how I look. Thank you for your down to earth perspective and acceptance of self.❤️
For me they do Anna. Sometimes i add a little powder sparkle as a topper :-) but as a base and for day to day product cream is my preference - RMS, Armani, Charlotte Tilbury and even the sticks from Laura Mercier, Kiko and Milani - doing another video shortly on my favorite cream eye shadows.
@@sixtyandme I do tiny bit of grey-color liner upper & lower. WHEN i use mascara (rare) I use just a bit on both. I am blond, 73 y.o. THANKS FOR THESE RECOMMENDATIONS!
I love your videos. Your beautiful multicolor necklace, if it was an inch longer, it would not so much bring the eye to the neck. There are products you could buy to make it a smitchen longer so not to bring the eye there.

I love the L'Oreal new foundation. It works so well for us older ladies. Does cream shadows really work better on older eyes?

Hardly ever use liner and never Botton lashes :-)

I find that if I don't use a bit of powder to set my foundation it transfers onto my phone and the inside of my mask.
