Thanks for the memories. In the late 80’s I used to live in a flat on corner of Duke Street and Westercraigs which was right opposite Bellgrove Street. It was pretty noisy what with the meat works across the road and the hospital and brewery next door as well. Moved to Eastehouse after that-Lochdochart Road then Australia for the last 33 years. Cheers Neil
I’ve enjoyed the ones on Easterhouse too. My dad and my nana were moved out to Wardie Road in Easterhouse in the 50’s when their tenement in Gourley Street Springburn was demolished. Australia has been a good place to raise a family but it was hard leaving family and friends behind and starting a new life on the other side of the world

What a difference a decade or so makes!! Was last there in 1982. Love the history backstory to your guys Glasgow travels. Keep On Trucking. P&F
My ma was from Glasgow. Clicked on your vid. Really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work. Hope you get to upgrade your equipment and keep doing these trips. Looking forward to more of your vids. What you do reminded me of a guy from my old neighborhood - toon215
I'm in Canada. I visited my granny in Bridgeton so many times as a child. She lived on Redan Street. My mom grew up on Nuneaton Street and then Redan St. Does anyone remember Aldo's fish and chips on Orr St right across from the Olympia? Great memories.
I came from the same background in the Gorbals in the Sixties and seventies and we used to fight with the Brigton Gangs at the Carnival on Glasgow Green, The Derry, Spur, Baltic Fleet etc, changed Days now thank God 😉😊 just saying from Glasgow 😎👍🇬🇧
Good memories living in Glasgow when I came here as a young girl and lived in Wilton street Maryhill as 16yr young girl .Walked down to Charing cross to go to Shuffles nightclub .😊Thank you 😊
Wow, that was amazing. Bridgeton sure has changed, with all the new builds, I didn't recognise most of the places. Thank you for filming the Sacred Heart Church, that's where my grandparents were married ❤ Still don't know where Pentland Place & French Street were, I believe they are no longer there, but would you know where they used to be?
Thankyou for watching,, french st is opposite the new Scottish police headquarters,,, as i leave the main st its straight across ,, its an industrial area,,, pentland place,,, thats in Bearsden,,,maybe years ago they had one
