A fantastic tour! Thank you Paul. I thought the weather added a different sort of atmosphere that didn't spoil the video at all. It reminded me of the Glasgow smog that we used to see a lot of back around 1960. Very bleak down at the Crematorium. I don't think we saw anybody there, although I suppose you wouldn't if they are a' deid!
I was born in Glasgow, 1972, lived in Pollock Hapland Rd till i was 8, moved up to the Highlands, dad was transferred from Corkerhill Railway, glad i found your channel, thanks. Still rem my postcode, G53 5PW, funny things you remember. Would be fantastic if you could do Hapland Rd and Dormonside Road, went to St Marnocks Primary and St Convals, would love to see.
I was born in Govan, Greenfields st. moved to Garthamlock, Clonbeith st, I wonder what they look like now? We came to Australia in Nov 1963 so my guess is different. We also stayed in the Gorbols for a month. cheers from down under
I was born in Glasgow in 1969 stayed in Barlia Drive til 1971 before moving to Aberdeen had family stay in Glenacre Dr used to love visiting them when I was on holiday from school brought back some good memories
