    I had a hickory tire thumper that truckers use. Filled with something very solid, not sure what. Kept it in my car just in case!

    Hi Matt, i just got home from my grandson's birthday party. It's really great having you demonstrate again your collection of batons and sticks. I had a couple of ideas i wanted to present to you for your input. If a person can obtain a 1.25 hickory dowel, cut it to 24 ", it would then be identical to the straight poly baton batons i sent you. The only difference, as you know, is the poly has rounded ends and the wooden type have squared off ends. My preference is the squared off version. I believe in performing thrusting techniques, since more contact is made with the flat ends, this will prevent it from sliding off heavy training bags. I wanted your input for students wanting to obtain a heavy bag, for practicing stick strikes and thrusts, to purchase a military type canvas duffle bag. Securing it with paracord from a beam. or even a tree limb, to aid in "getting the feel" of full power strikes and thrusts. Hope to catch you in the next class. Take care. Doug.

    I clumsily pulled out a multitool and manually unfolded the small pocket knife to open a box. Guy at work said, "They don't want you using those." showed me some safety boxcutter. I sort of laughed, asked for the safety cutter and paid no mind to the real razor I carry for a self-defense slash to the face as quickly as possible. If you must draw blood, I'd go right for the forehead or eyes, to blind my opponent (enemy). Usually I have my stick, which I prefer.

    I really like your videos Matt, just a point though I don't know how it is in the states but in New Zealand if someone attacks you and you injure them in self defense it will probably be you in court on charges! Not a great law I know but there it is, theres always a way around these things though, is'nt there...

    • @pasquinilli
      @pasquinilli  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Mike. Sadly, those laws seem to be everywhere now. Still, self defense is a God given right. Better to fight in court than to lose your life.

    I'm not sure exactly what I can carry in Wyoming, but nothing is as convenient as a cane. I wish that they would be more permissive towards these things. Those who would hurt us are going to be carrying anyway.

    8:42 I was at a party at a strippers house. Guy drunkenly unfolded a collapsible baton and started smashing bottles. Just a dummy having too much fun. Guy drew his pistol on him. I put the girl I had behind me, as I was behind the guy that drew the pistol and facing the guy that was smashing the bottles. Stripper came downstairs and kicked everyone out, except for me, and I slept with her roommate.

    I love using these-- AND the Tonfa.(Pr-24)... being a person that prefers elbow and knee strikes and palm heel.... these are GREAT... BUT- again- not really legal for us normal folk to carry around.. sticking wtih my CANE.. and YES_ I agree on this entire video-- EXCELLENT video too.. and I HEARD you saying that it's not likely to carry..which is PERFECT.. so folk know they CAN use whatever it takes to survive-- but can't necessarily carry them!!!! (some would try to carry it otherwise without checking)... OH- by the way- I have SHOT those with .44 and it didn't totally break!!!! (at about 40 ft.).. (Shot the batons I mean)..
