    Why is being off by a millimeter so important? Be a millimeter off on a map when you're calling in artillery or an air strike "danger close" and you'll see why precision is so important. Have your sights off on your weapon a click or two....it won't matter much at 50 meters, but at 300m or 400m it will.

      @Emma Lord Oh, but it is about being practical and to teach young men and women that detail matters. Small details can mean the difference between victory and defeat or life and death.

      Gravja well they are army cadets (considering I am one) so they don't wear CADPAT, we wear the standard 1960s combat uniform (I bought myself a M1 helmet, just need a woodland cover). The only un-historical thing is that, caring the C7A2 rather than the C1A1 or C2A1!

    As an Army Cadet my self, I really like the 1960s combat/FTU uniforms! (I bought myself a M1 helmet, just need a woodland cover) The only un-historical thing is that we have to carry the C7A2, rather than the C1A1 or C2A1!

    seems a bit odd I am a bit confused by this is this like OTC and then going to Sandhurst? Most guys do university then go to RCB (Regular Commissioning Board) Do a year at Sandhurst For us it also helps if you have been to the right schools etc.. For Guards Division and Household Cavalry son of lord or baron etc.. still weirdly a thing when I was in although it's got better I believe these days However probably not changed for the guards and household Cavalry

      In North America, some Officer Cadets attend selective military academies for four years. RMC and West Point essentially function as military universities where you leave with a bachelors degree.

      cadets does not mean nothing to the military it shows you have interest in the forces at a young age and that is on your resume.

    • @nicklapierre6381
      @nicklapierre6381 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hedgehog that's all true I am just saying it goes on your resume no you can't skip bmq because you were in cadets. I am just saying that it is not worthless being a cadet because when you join the forces you will know most of the marching and drill and kinda how stuff works.

    • @nicolejackson8039

      Yeah cadets will mean nothing to people bmq is actual millatary cadets is just kind of the basics of the basics of the very basics. I am a artillery cadet and in cadets you will learn things like simple survival techniques how to setup tents basic drill ect.

      If you could not get into a military college then u have no standing to be commenting on a military college. You don't press combats.

    WTF the final challenge takes less than an hour? Sounds horrible! I guess I don't really understand what this is. they become mounties after this, is this infantry? if they're to be mounties do they ever learn about criminal justice... if it's infantry do they learn about combat? looks like excellent training for hotel management though.

    • @arabrem488
      @arabrem488 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is just a team work excercise before they begin the main part of their military college career. This is not to become a mounty, or infantry, this is part of the beginning of officer training.
