CRUISE CONTROL REPAIR! Why it fails and how you can fix it (B5 S4 AVF prep)

Today we are tackling an issue that's plagued this car since the day I bought it. The cruise control function is something I absolutely need when making a cross country trek, and now is the time to fix it. When you lose functionality of cruise control in your B5 or C5 Audi, a code in VCDS will usually show up as "implausible signal", the source is almost always corrosion built up on the traces in your cruise switch. I'll be showing you how to disassemble, clean, test, and reassemble the unit to get you back to enjoying the drive!

Wait a min, "a functional cup holder" on a B5 ???? 🤣🤣🤣. Have a quick question: should a dab of like silicone grease be put on the plastic sliders/bits ? Thank you for the great video !!!
