Well, I am putting this comment out there on July 20 and quite frankly thinking you might actually be at the end. And if you are not, you are really really really close. It has been a real treat to watch you and Leo for the almost 2100 miles to now and like many of your followers, I will miss you. I will look for you and your future endeavors and will be very interested in seeing your post summary of the experience, challenges, the equipment and the certain void that follows the completion. Your life is full, so you might be a hiker who puts the checkmark on the bucket list and moves on to the next amazing challenge. THANK YOU.
I have not enjoyed following an AT through hike as much as yours since Kyle Rohrig with his dog Katana. Thank you for sharing your journey. Leo is amazing! Natural born hiker. He’s really loving it.
Another trip to GA so behind in video views..it has been our honor to tag along with you and Leo on this epic journey! We feel a special bond with both of you and wish you many future successes both on and off these beautiful, beastly trails. You are one determined strong dude, Michael! And a special shout out to your lovely wife for all her support and help making this happen in part for us, too! On a personal note a little brag- my 18 year old grandson just completed solo driving from ATL to STL and back with me followed by driving me to the ATL airport and home solo as well. I think we have a budding adventurer on our hands, too! Safe travels!
Wow!!! I’m exhausted watching you do this!! Goodness!!! You are trail running!! It was so awesome watching you and Leo cross that river! He is Leo the hiking AND swimming dog 💗 So excited to see the least 114 miles! 🥰🥰
The water crossings your conquered challenge!! I am thinking since you are a few days behind when you make these posts , that on this day you are in the wilderness, which explains why I have not had any response from you.. sad that your journey is coming to completion, but excited for your accomplishments! You have earned rock star status in my humble opinion! …keep pushing those miles..Hike on!
Just want to say thank you, sir, for allowing us as viewers to follow along on this journey. It has been amazing, to say the least, from a viewers end. Definitely at the top of my list on AT thru hikes. GOD bless you sir
I have so enjoyed watching yours and Leo’s Journey. You and Stick the Eagle are the only 2 people I’ve watched hike the AT this year. I am so excited about you and Leo getting to the top of Mt Katadhin. I’m hoping Stick gets back on trail and gets there also. I am also looking forward to your adventure home. Love you both. Thanks for allowing us to join you. It’s been Epic!!!!!
I’m getting so sad for the journey to be over. I love my daily dose of hiking with you two. Thank you for bringing us along with you! I will be continuing to follow your adventures! 🏕️👏🐕
Hey Michael, been following your journey almost from the beginning...I live very close to standing bear hostel My neighbors have a really nice fully modern aframe cabin that I am sure they would let you use for a night or two..no charge. It's about 6 1/2 miles off of I40 exit 447. Let me know if it works out for you, they are doggy people so Leo is totally welcome. Hope to see you on the way home🦮🦮🦮
Cool deal being able to show the two river crossings on video! So excited for how close you are getting, but obviously mixed emotions as well. And last we heard, Tyler was in front of you ... has he finished?
Soon and very soon the journey will be over. So glad to hear you will take us along on the return journey. It helps while I wait in between students to have some great videos to watch that transport me to another place with great views.
🚶🐕🦺👟👟⛺🌞 this is been the most amazing journey with lots of great views so proud of you and Leo and I look forward to following you on many more journeys stay safe and happy hiking 💯💪🏆

I probably took 6 years off my life but when I went through the 100 only 100% deer did the trick. Of course a bug net as well.
I found a better combination no deet
What is combo? Bc you looked like you were suffering with flys etc.?

I hope you get to meet Captain Jack...he's doing a yo-yo...SOBO now...I've been following yours and his TH-cam channels since Day 1.
He found me!
Who took the vidieo of you crossing the river?
I wonder also. Thought if you had left camera on other bank you would have dropped your pack. Thought maybe another hiker took video.
I did

Thank you so much
Left us hanging!!!😂❤❤❤❤❤
Sorry
Down south there are bridges for river crossing. Wondering, why not Maine?
I think they would get washed away
So when you acquire the cabin you mentioned, is it actually inside of Baxter State Park?
No
👍
Thanks
144? Gross!
Old person regulations compelled me to make that quip
🤣
You might have a Novel N U after This. Blessingz Leo
Thanks
Quit pulling on that puppy while he is trying to do his do!!
