Very nice indeed mate .I've had my Prime for a couple of years and love it but if it had been out at the time I would've gone for the lite .p.s I've recently switched from GT7 to Forza Motorsport on pc so I added keyboard and mouse trays this week .Not only is it great and easy to fit ,it came in 2 days .
@philliptheone I've seen these around, similar to the GT Omega Titan I think. They look good, but a tubular rig is never going to be as solid as proper profile rig. However.. they seem like a good alternative
Hi my rig is coming tomorrow Ordered Hybrid Cockpit on Saturday with the Red inertia bucket seat and Caster wheels highly excited. Leaving monitor to another day because I can move it in front of the TV but you know that update is coming . For Me and for most alluminium profilwe is overkill unless you have 12-28+ Nm and me with a G29 still is really buying it for the adjustabilities and looks 🥵. And I guess it will work better and cause less vibration than a lifting-up coffee table. Just excited for a new Item.
The hybrids are awesome! The thing is.. it'll last you forever, you won't need another rig, and you'll have something capable if you ever decide to upgrade your wheel and Pedals etc.. very good choice bud!
@LilGrabzy I've been racing on console since I started, my aim is go more towards "proper" sim racing on PC.. so I'll be looking at making some wheel and pedal upgrades at some point, I think PC sim racing is more attractive than GT7 for me at the moment
Hey NTQ great vid my friend nice rig congrats! Just one thing though if you can help it at all with the cords that go to your pedals. Especially but mainly with all wires you do not want to bunch them up. Bundle them up. Twist them up as you did with the break and gas pedal cord for the fanatec because it creates a week spot in the cord or wire a kink as you will. And that becomes a problem. Later on you wind up getting a break inside the wire that you can't see and you wind up with issues of your pedals not working really all wiring should never be bunched up. It should be straight as it can be that goes for auto wiring, house wiring and such. So I just wanted to bring that to your attention so you may be able to straighten it out instead of bunching it up. That way I would hate to see you have problems later, especially because fanatec does not resell the cords and when they're broke they're broke which really stinks because fanatec made the cords only for their system. You can't just buy any old cord and use it
Great frame, done over 1000 hours on mine and still solid, my only gripe is the seats are a bit rubbish so I changed to a sparco evo after a couple of weeks, I also got some sim lab side mounts for my dd pro which gives loads more leg room.
All very cool and your complete setup there is very impressive..... but with an IMPRESSIVE price! I'll keep doing the lottery, until then I'll have to do with a £50 pad 😕
Thanks for the useful review! I am trying to decide between the art and the prime lite and don’t have much space. Could you please tell me how different they are in terms of width (excluding monitor stand). I’ve seen the measurements online but they seem wider that they should be for the prime lite (~15cm wider)
@gish85 the prime lite is wider, maybe by a couple of inches or so.. if you can stretch to a prime lite, I'd recommend it.. its much more rigid and has much better feel than the art. I started to notice some of the bolts loosening now and again on the art, but the prime lite has been solid since I built it, with zero movement anywhere. I hope this helps👍 don't forget, you can use code 'NTQ' for 5% off anything you order bud😊
@russtill403 yeah it's taking a bit to get used to, it's made it tricky for the camera aswell, I might go back to a free standing one at some point maybe
Great video 👍🏻 I built the same setup today. One issue I had was with the chair slider. Did your slider part come fitted to the the chair, or was it separate and you fitted it yourself? The slider I have doesn’t stay in the back pins when you pull the rail into place. The rail pops out of them ☹️ I watched the GT Omega video showing how to do it, and still didn’t work. In the end I removed the slider rails and fitted it with out the slide feature 😣
@@SDK2006b thanks bud, I appreciate it! My chair came fitted with the slider already, apart from the pull lever under the seat to adjust it.. have you reached out to GT Omega? They're pretty good at getting back to people bud💪
Nice, looks exactly like our TrakRacer Rig. Except I'm digging the style and support of that seat 💺 😎 Good video as always and good luck 👍 hope you enjoy it and get quicker than not 😂😁🤗🤗
My gaming monitor doubles up as my one of my work monitors . I’m considering replacing my wheel stand with the GT Lite with a bucket seat. Would the pedal section fit under a work desk, as I don’t want to fix the monitor to the rig. Thanks.
Thank you...i just started VR2 its extremely Immersive, but i still need a screen for ACC. I Did post 3 vr videos i love it that much ..😂@NotThatQuick

@JacK-yr8ri I'll be honest, I've added extra padding to the base of the seat, I play for around 3 to 4 hours.. with the extra padding it's fine. I use a memory foam cushion that I got from amazing for £15
