Papaya Chicken Soup Chinese Style Recipe

Here's the Recipe:
500g of Chicken Cutlets
2 Whole Tomatoes ( Cut Into Wedges )
1 Whole Holland Onion ( Cut Into Wedges )
2 Whole Potatoes ( Cut Into Cubes )
1 Carrot ( Cut Into Round Wedges )
1 Medium Semi Ripe Papaya ( Cut Into Cubes )
2-3 Liters of Water
3-4 Tsp. of Chicken Stock Powder
Salt ( Add To Taste )

You know Sheryl, at first I thought "why is this lady being so simple"? My ex-Filipina wife as well as most Filipino's I know here in Hilo Hawaii insist that the papaya has to be "green", I even saw this lady going crazy in the store yesterday touching every papaya and mumbling out loud how bad they were. I always disagreed but they planted a mindset in me that a semi ripe papaya just wouldn't work. Yet I always thought that the slight sweetness would add something special. Now I can see that the acid from the tomato which is supplying a savory ness to the soup would marry with the slight sweetness of the papaya. I will definitely try it next time as I have already made my soup.
