Cupcake had lots of potential, but they worried that he would pull fans over to his side fast and ruin the stories of the other characters. Fans would be call everyday asking for more and more cupcake adventures.
This is why season 6 was so good, it was hilarious, lighthearted and then dark, sinister, threatening, foreboding all at the same time. Every element that made the show so great was encapsulated beautifully in the final season
