Mark of the Ninja is SO GOOD, I don't know how it's not more popular. It's the best pure Ninja game ever IMO. I played through twice, killing most enemies the first playthrough, then without killing or getting spotted a single time except for the forced story moments. That was even more fun than the one with killing! I love that you can play it as a sneaking master or a murder-machine. Towerfall is among the best multi-player vs games ever made, maybe even the best. Endless fun and laughs with friends. Enter the Gungeon is one of the top 10 greatest games ever made, period. I will die on this hill (300hrs and counting). Transistor is a masterpiece as well - even though I burned out on Hades pretty quick for a roguelite I still think it's SG's best game, but Transistor is a *really* close second (everybody play Pyre too!). Both Guacamelee games are great and I really really want more games with Mexican themes and mythology. Dead Cells IS the GOAT, my favorite game of all time - it's combat system is second to none. 600 hours and counting, just a game that keeps you engaged from start to finish and will have you craving that "one more run" feeling the best roguelites give. Celeste is a magic and special experience that everyone should play. The final chapter of the main story is one of the greatest pieces of level design I've ever seen and I love the soundtrack so much I bought it on vinyl.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts again. Stealth games are a hard sell imo since it has to make waiting "fun", so kind of a niche genre. Very curious as to what Drinkbox is up to these days.
