26:00 Thats the great vedic scholar of Advaita Vedanta !! Adi Shankara. I thought you knew it . He is THE commenter on principal Upanishads and is revered .
Very rare to find his statute. The another one is at Kedarnath and is very recent and magnificent.
Adi Shakara was born in Kerala and travelled all India and died in Kedarnath. His teachings and writings are exhaustive.

@@GabrielTravelerVideos if you get a chance, there is another temple beach town called Murdeshwar maybe about 70-80 kms south of Gokarna. You can also get to Jog Falls, one of the most impressive waterfalls in India not far from Gokarna or Murudeshwat.
You should check them out if you haven’t already been there and Jog Falls is definitely worth a trip and it’s quite spectacular. Murideshwar has a huge Shiva statue and I think it’s a modern temple but the beaches are pretty good.

As a liberal hindu(though I don't eat beef) I feel very peaceful thru your travels to sacred holy sites and temples. Thanks very much. Toronto Canada.

A similar but bigger chariot at Puri, Orissa that carries the god Jagannath is the origin of the English word Juggernaut! Once it starts moving it's hard to stop and will crush anything/anyone that comes in the way.
