Nice comment about Kathmandu. And very happy you showed "The Terraces". I had the opportunity to finish this hotel during and after the Covid period. Now busy in Everest area for our new "lodges" in Phakding and Syangboche. Same concept as "The Terraces" but on an ever higher quality level at 4.000 m altitude.
To be honest Nepal is way better than their neighbours INDIA Pakistan and all that. These people are really hardworking, hygienic and most importantly don't scam 😂
Because Nepal doesn’t have a system and for it is best without it. Idk if Most Nepalese people realize this by now but the corporate America is madness. Living in Nepal is a mindfulness vacation every day if one has that mindset.
Welcome to Nepal mate, Kathmandu offers a layers of versions to explore, layer 1 you just see surfaces versions- all chaos still find peace and some amazing feelings, you will find almost anything from classic bar restaurants to contemporary ones, layer 2 is where you spend some time spending exporing, you will make friends with local, some of the native foods, all local foods, best secred places to eat where few visitors knows, all hidden gems, layer 3, you spend some years there, you love everything it offers, all the traditions and festives you participate, you know best getaway nearby places. Anyway, also i like the most is the weather of Kathmandu. Enjoy the most! Ps: Those were my experiences living there.
I dunno where u r originally from but may be the tightness in your chest may be coz u didn’t do any acclamation before visiting Nepal. We r quite high up from the sea level so people have breathing problems especially if they visit the places nears the mountains n they originally lives near the beaches.

You didnt stay at Thamel area anything? Less traffic etc and really really nice.. I love Nepal, been there 6 times 3month/time.. 2001 was first time and yeah, things have changed but still awesome
Politics.. built by funding from China hence India wants to make sure it fails to prove it was a Chinese debt trap. India has banned any flight from Pokhara to use its airspace. So like they say when 2 elephants fight, it’s the grass that suffers.
If you ever travel by bus in Nepal, only eat canned food for lunch. The people all poo in the rivers and you will get very sick. I've travelled around every part of the world and I've only been sick twice, the two times I went to Nepal by bus.
That's totally incorrect. Nepal has toilet everywhere even in a remote villages and areas. You guys get sick because you eat anything anywhere. Eating food from the roadside vendors or tiny restaurants are not hygienic. And, most important, you should have a sense of hygiene. Should know what to eat and what not to.
This gives me a completely different view of Katmandu. Previous videos had me thinking it was more so like parts of Lima, Peru. Not nearly as modern as this.

Its the flu season here in nepal so i think it might be the reason you are feeling sick in the chest or might it be the altitude?
The reason is because the quality of food and water is poor, as is the environment itself.
