    Good video but you should compress both pistons at the same time (using the old brake pad and squeezing in the middle works fine)

    hey, i always open the top of the brake cylinder when i compress my calipers, it makes it easier. you have to be careful not to overflow it or get air bubbles, so do it gently or you'll have to bleed the brakes. good vid!

    Arent you supposed to take brake clean and spray down the new rotors ? To remove the oil that is on them to keep them from rusting during storage ?

    I was always taught to use the old pad and a C clap to close both pistons as the same time. Is that wrong?

    Thank you, had hard time finding the right brake pads. For whatever reason the pads on my 06 dodge ram 1500 look like the one in this video. Others has different sliding points of contact.

    Could over-tightening the caliper slide bolts cause the brakes to stick?

    Do we need to bed the brakes you don't mention it I use to never do it and when I finally did big difference in performance

    So, I thought that compressing back through the master cylinder can screw up the ABS.

    Just an FYI the new pads do not come with the new retaining clips like shown on these pads in the video.
