Good video. very clear, great pace, straightforward information. I came for the last tip how to make something completely hollow without open face. Many thanks
I was trying to design a intake manifold system but when I tried to use the shell command in the sweep pipe which was attached to flange the flange also gets hollow inside. I want the sweep shape as like a pipe(which must be hollow) but the flange attached to it.... How to over come this
first make it hollow, then add the seep piple. You can roll back the line on your design tree by dragging it up above the sweep, then do the shell, then drag it back down again
Hii sir g.e You doing great job its a self less thank for this And all devices all over the solidworks is very helpful as But it's not enough for beginners make a course step by steps its better to understand for everyone
From all the 3d modeling programs I have used, on solidworks shell tool works the worst. Sure - a box or cylinder can be shelled, but if u get a more complex shape get ready to lose a day - best thing usually is just to shell your object on a different program. Sometimes I love this program, sometimes I hate it

The tip was incredible! Thank you Master.
My pleasure Hassan
Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm designing some parts for rotomolding and they have to be hollow without deleting a face.
Awesome
Hlo sir make a video on UNC and unf like 3/8 16 UNC 2B
don't know that, what is it
What about the depth?
The depth will be caluculated by the SHELL feature itself. It goes so deep until it only leaves the wall thickness you have defined on the bottom
me getting frustrated trying to prevent from removing a surface. Thanks, hope this vid helps others
