I have experienced ghost over the years and the biggest lesson I have learnt is do not show attention, communicate or record, basically it causes it to escalate making it worse and brings more to come into your home. I have learnt to protect myself and my home by praying. ❤

The last one seems very cgi to me BUT I have experienced sleep paralysis more then a few times and it’s always the same tall dark man in a trench coat maybe & brimmed hat just staring down at me. Can’t move, can’t scream… it’s totally horrifying!!

Seeing the Hat Man was my very first paranormal experience. I was 5 and the memory is still so vivid.
I was pretty young when I saw him too. Just woke up during the night to see the silhouette and looked at it for a few seconds until it moved slightly. Then I just did the normal kid thing and threw the blanket over my head lol. That silhouette is still etched into my mind like it was yesterday.

I didn't believe in any of this stuff until my friends and I found an abandoned house that the owners would NOT sell, for whatever reason. And we found out why. If there weren't other people there, I'd still think this was all fake. I'm sure a certain percentage of it is. The thing I have an issue with it is, what are the odds of you actually catching it on camera. Any time something happened to us we were too "Yo--is THIS REAL LIFE!?" to even think about recording it. It's just too paradigm shattering to think "Oh this would a good time to record it."

If u want to read it here's my one experience. A lil long and very unbelievable, I understand it's crazy. I swear to God and on everything I'm not lying and I only had one experience and it was insane. It's so insane that I would never believe it if someone told me this happened to them. Me and my friend were out in the middle of no where (loch Raven reservoir in MD near Baltimore) and we went to a park that was closed to roll a blunt. It was closed and I'm the parking lot to the left was a wide open field with trees over a football field away. Well we started seeing a light over by the trees. We just said it was a guy with a flash light. So then the light went up a tree a lil bit and we figured he climbed it for some reason. So then a boom happened and we were like ooooo he's lighting fireworks. I put broke the weed up on a cd case and laid it on the dash and started cracking the blunt. My friend matt was breaking weed up he had to add to the blunt while I did this. Then I started thinking, if the guy is lighting fireworks why can't I see him light them and why is he in the middle of no where. Another boom happened and it hit me. I said out loud to matt, "why can't we see the fireworks going off", meaning why is there no flash. Like a fucking movie as soon as I said this the booms started going off like shit. They got closer VERY quick. They were happening all around the car. I could feel it in my guts. The vibrations were so bad the cd case I had on the dash fell and spilled my weed. I kept thinking that I was like a bunch of horses were stampeding around my car. My friend started to basically cry. He wasnt balling but tears and begging for me to drive away. I kept saying no cause I wanted to know wtf was going on. But then it stopped instantly. The light was gone and the booms were gone. They did find a red coat in the area years before and I know the British had camps in MD and fells point had a famous battle happen there. I'm not saying that's what it was. I couldn't tell u what it was and again no one believes it except those who know me and matt cause they know we wouldn't lie about this. We grew up in Baltimore. Seeing murder wasn't unusual and the area made it so u don't lie over weird shit like that. Hard to explain. To much serious shit happening to waste ur time lying about something so stupid. I emailed the park like ten years later and asked if they ever had anyone say anything or experience anything like this. They actually wrote me back. Lol they said no. So to this day I wonder wtf happened that night. It was so extreme I never thought anything that serious was possible. I thought only movies had scenes like this. So much force and so loud. It makes me wonder just what type of stuff is really possible.

I’ve dealt with the paranormal my whole life and one spirit that was in my home through middle school and high school was an old man. He was a trickster and extremely active, who often made things go missing and reappear some time later in very obvious spots like on the dinner table. He has stayed with me even after moving and a friends and I dropped something that then vanished. I made the comment that my ghost, whose name is Mr Berquett, got the item quick. Then I say “it’s okay he’ll make it reappear some where like right here” as I pointed at his empty mattress,as the linens were in the wash, and at the exact moment I said it and pointed, the item materializes right in front of our eyes. Not the scariest thing I’ve experienced but absolutely the most profound.

Whenever I used to have sleep paralysis episodes and "saw" stuff it was usually too blurry for me to make out but I'd still get the feeling something else was in the room moving around. Of course you can't move or even open your eyes, so naturally I'd start to basically panic to the point where I felt like I was gonna have a heart attack. I have one of those rooms where if I turn the lights off, it's so dark that you can't tell which way you're facing. Most of my experiences happened when I was around 17 but they happened so often that I couldn't sleep with the light off anymore. Sometimes I'd also put off sleep for multiple days just to avoid any episodes I might have. I'm 27 now and the last two times I had SP was last year. Both were auditory which is far scarier imo. Either way, I started listening to Derek Prince and I haven't had an episode since. Them going away when they did leaves me to believe that this was something demonic attacking me in my sleep and not whatever it is they tell people these days.
I used to have sleep paralysis from the age of 13 up until 42, and they were hell on me. I just prayed, and they will go away.
Sleep paralysis happen when your body is awake but your soul is not fully back into your body yet. Because when we sleep our soul goes take a "walk" in the spirit realm, low astral realm or parallel realities. So when you have sleep paralysis it's because your body is awake but since your soul is still not fully in your body, the body cannot move and what you are seeing and earing is actually spirits and creatures from the low astral realm. But they cannot hurt you there is no need to be afraid, by being afraid you are only giving them more energy. Or if you are seeing aliens it's actually abduction and you are part of the hybridization agenda but yet again no need to be afraid they don't want to hurt you.
I stopped mine by sleeping in a bed tent. Something about the tent stops it acting as a barrier

As someone who suffers from sleep paralysis they got it pretty accurate of what you imagine/what happens. Ive had almost that exact scenario in the video happen to me numerous times.

Yeah I used to get sleep Paralysis like 14-20 times in the same night virtually getting no real sleep and I used to curse at it, but one night after some of the worst sleep Paralysis I ever had, I got up and was standing in my bathroom awake with the lights on and kept saying I rebuke you in the name of Jesus over and over again louder and louder and the lights in the room started flickering, my actual fucking bed started shaking like there was an earthquake but I live in Louisiana, no earth quakes, I got so scared I ran out the room and I'm a grown 32 year old man. But thank God I've not had it again in since praise Jesus. I was not a good Christian before this and am still not now, but this event made me realize Jesus is real and his name holds power
Never in a million years did I expect what happened to happen. The sheer violence in the room that happened after rebuking it in the name of Jesus, then it was gone.

I experienced sleep paralysis a few weeks ago, 1 of many times. It felt like someone was pressing their knee or elbow into my neck and I could feel all their weight on me. I finally woke up gasping for air and I could swear I saw a shadow figure leap off me and disappear through the window.
That would be very creepy…
Sleep paralysis is scary but it’s just your brain telling your body it’s still asleep in dream state but you actually wake up. That’s what I understand from it. I often lucid dream which is scary sometimes too.

@@dld6959 Has nothing to do with religions, its a condition where you are in REM phase, and you techincally are awake but your Brain cortex which controlls your dreams and sleep and your brain cortex which controlls your body isnt working together at that moment even though it should, which is the reason why its called paralysis because your brain still thinks its sleeping even though you are awake. Everything is just imagination.

Our house was haunted growing up..i slept with a fan,went to bathroom about 2 am,it unplugged my fan threw it on my bed,i came back..said look u lived here,now i do,leave my fan alone,never had another issue with it.
I wish I was that brave when I was a kid growing up in a haunted house too. For me it was an old lady who would always be laughing. This was in Chicago.
For those who have sleep paralysis, just keep calm and take deep breaths and you'll be able to get out of it. Don't try to move or strugling too much, it just gets worse.
I've been using that method and always able to get out of it with just few deep breaths.
Not just nightmares. Old hag is scarier than anything you can imagine. The production didn't do it any service either. It's much, much worse. Before you even see her the room is full of dread and gloom...mist, fog and eerie light is seen...then you see her at the foot of your bed just crouching there looking at you. Then crawls upon your feet and legs and slowly makes her way up your body and you feel every bit of pressure on you and the bed moves correspondingly as well..then she goes for your neck with her mouth. You try to cry out but nothing but air comes out. No one is helping...you pass out.

I experienced sleep paralysis about 7 years ago. I could feel it crawl on my bed then crawl on my chest. Then I could feel each finger wrap around my neck and I could feel it breathing super close to my face. After it was over I got up and had to sit down I was completely drained of any energy. For about 20 minutes
with the things flying out of the cabinets I think 100% it's string, the things on the floor fell on top of the strings and that's why some of the things jump up as more things are pulled off the counter (around 19:43)

I've had sleep paralysis for almost 10 years now, and it is truly terrifying, I have gotten very much used to it over the years, but what's crazy is about a week ago ,something .....different happened, I don't what to say it aloud or on here, but I had to pray as strong and as powerful as I can, to make it go away, it was right in my ear.... I can't describe the noise anyway I'm not going to say more except that sleep paralysis can be terrifying, I hate it and wish to God it would go away, but I'm used to it now and know what to do to get out of it, but like I said about a week ago that time it was different.
I have sleep paralysis since i am 7, which is 16 years now, and you get pretty used to it, but i started to research scientific papers about the condition and the brain, and why this happens, and it actually helped my alot to understand it and to understand why those things happen and since then i dont realy have any fear anymore because its just a imagination thing, where your brain still thinks you are in your REM phase even though your Brain cortex which controlls your body thinks you are awake, that why we are paralysed until the brain is stimulated enough to register you are awake and you wake up. Realy helped me alot to do research about the science behind it, i can recommend it.
I use to have it for years and I started sleeping with a Bible under my pillow for awhile then I ended up getting a ring with Lord's Prayer engraved on it and it stopped happening.

I've been a Christian my whole life, and yes I've dealt with even evil spirits in our haunted home when I was young, and again in my 20s, and to me sleep paralysis is truly something evil, and it either likes to attack the believers of god to either challenge or try and scare them, and the people that don't believe it god, it attacks them, maybe because they won't pray or have the strength in prayer to fight it away, I'm not sure, and I have bibles in my bedroom they always stay open, ( I've always done this my whole life, leave an open bible in each room of your home) but I will put one under my pillow and see if that...thing comes back, i know what it was, and it challenge me, its hard to explain the 1 minute story on here, but I made it leave by praying harder and louder (in my mind obviously) it feels good to talk to others about it that understands it☺☺

@@MOMMARAPTOR I use to have nightmares too and it still gives me chills thinking about it. What I did was put a Bible under my pillow before I sleep and it did helped me get sleep. Funny thing is I'm not that of a believer but the Bible does the trick for me everytime.

the vacuum seemed very fake to me. like a ghost doing vacuuming after all the mess it's done? 🤣
On the kitchen poltergeist clips the bowl that was supposedly broken a few days before can still be seen on its spot with all the original stuff it had and definitely not broken. He could've glued it back together but considering all of his food is canned and microwaveable there's no way he went off his way to fix a bowl he doesn't even need. At that point is when it made me go "CAP! B*LLSHIT! YOU LOST ME THERE!" As soon as I noticed it. And then the over the top wrecking and his unfazed reactions confirmed it was all fake to me.
I saw that too about the bowl, and I totally agree. Also, when it gave the point of view of the food, flying out of the cupboard and breaking the picture, how come it wasn’t showing from the view that it was previously when we saw the trashcan come out because I think somebody was behind the cover throwing those things through. I think this whole house was set up for this. He’s got a whole channel dedicated to it.

I only ever had sleep paralysis once when I was around 19. Moved into a new house that was built on an old church/grave yard sight ;). Woke up in the night with a dark figure/shadow bastard in the corner of my room watching me. Tried to scream or move but couldn't. Bloody terrifying. Others had experiences in the house too. Only ever paranormalish thing to happen to me.

I think this happened to you because you were thinking about the paranormal stuff at that point, and maybe thinking about how creepy it is to live in a house which was build on an old grave yard, and your brain started processing that while you were asleep and you were just unlucky to get a paralysis in that night, thats why you started to see something, the science behint it is fairly simple but i still never would wish someone something like that.

So, going off of my own experiences, I'm going to have to say that number 8 Tormented by a Poltergeist is probably real. I've had many, many experiences with this type of thing. After a while you do get tired of it and are kind of blasé about it quite often. I wish he would have pulled the stuffed animals away. I also wish that my ghosts would have vacuumed for me once in a while, or dusted, I'm not picky.

It is really crazy what we can get used to dealing with. Especially in a situation like this where he isn't being physically harmed... yet anyways. I believe it is real!
I experienced these kinds of things since childhood due to hereditary factors. My father, brothers and sisters can feel, see, hear and communicate with those who are invisible. So if you ask what experiences have I had? Lots. Almost everyday.

Hi Mate, that door knocking lark is a pile of old pants!🤣he's just too calm about it when most of us would be running for the hills!. Freaky deaky at the grave though!. I beilieve fully in Poltergeist though as we were tormented by them ourselves where we lived as children. My dear old mum is no longer with us, but she always said she didn't even believe in ghosts until we lived there. It was such a beautiful area, a chocolate box lodge, but it was something else after nightfall. At the end of that kitchen event though...what is the moving reflection in the oven door?, and why is the bowl repaired on the counter 'several nights later?. Ben, I found out about the 'hat man' recently which chilled me to the bone, because, as i have told you before, we called our apparition 'mac' due his his 1930's look, he had a trilby and those macs with Lapels, the trilby was always pointed forward so as to hide a face. It's well known family history since the 60's, then I hear of this 'Hat man' and wonder...I really am freaked out about it.

Sleep Paralysis happened to me alot but it wasn't a demon or alien, I just felt like something dangerous was in the house and i kept trying to scream to my wife to get the kids out of the house but no sound came out.
I had the same experience couldn't move or scream ,I had them at least twice a week for weeks I was scared to go to bed I kept the light on and the radio.😢

When my son was 3 he started having sleep paralysis. I made sure to tell him the science behind what’s happening and he’s never seen anything when it happens. I think understanding what’s happening might protect you from seeing anything creepy
True, when I had it my mumbrold me it was spirits trying to communicate with me. Then I asked the doctor and he said naaa it's when you mind wakes up before your body.
I've had sleep paralysis since a toddler and 5 times out of 10 see shadow people,if your son sees them I could help I think

I spoke with a guy called JD on a history channel and he works for the Gettysburg museum and I asked him if he's witnessed anything paranormal and his response was...in all the years I've worked there I've never seen anything. I live about 45 minutes from the Gettysburg battlefield and I can assure you that the entire area is a paranormal Hotspot.

The can/bottle in the basement before the light falling seamed to fly up towards a fixed point(a pipe).
The kitchen may be trickier to see but the Ramen pulled multiple things out causing them to land on the strings for the other items.
So when he yanks on lets say the trash can string, the small bag moves because the string underneath is now being pulled upwards/at an angle.
(cabinet door yanked so hard it rebounds and closes)
I'm a full believer, it's just something about this that doesn't seen true for me. I think it's the name too, kinda makes you think it's for the views. I could be wrong though.

I have suffered with sleep paralysis since I was little and I will say it is the absolute most terrifying thing to go through. It happens when I’m stressed out. Having to fight until you can get your eyes open and make it stop is horrific. There have been many nights I had to wake up and stay awake for fear it would happen again. It is absolutely terrifying and I don’t wish it on anyone. It really does feel like someone evil is sitting on your chest pinning you down and you have to fight like hell to get out of it.

I had sleep paralysis from ages 13-18. About 5 times a week, now I just have them once a year.
Edit: 47:05 That is how sleep paralysis is, kind of. It's usually a black mass that can move around very quickly. Sometimes it felt like I was being choked and could also feel its breathe on my face. I was able to communicate with this thing though. I will never forget this one time I tried reciting prayers and it told me "that won't save you". Anyone else that has experienced it can also explain how if you try to move and yell, you won't be able to lol. I'm curious, Ben have you been through sleep paralysis before?

Had an experience one night before, after the day prior when I was home alone and had two spirit voices talking when I was going to the bathroom; nobody was home so I didn't bother closing door but after hearing them I slammed it shut... my experience though I was only paralyzed for a couple minutes in an event that probably lasted about an hour... on a warm summer night the room got very cold and I could sense two presences in the room, one was of a man standing in my closet though it completely filled with stuff, the other was as a 9to girl pacing back and forth swinger her arms like she was bored... for the longest time just dismissed it as nothing but it dragged on and I knew something was definitely in the room... at a certain point I became paralyzed as had been freezing fir a while and needed to pull the covers up but when I was about to do so I noticed by body wasn't responding though I could move my head... a few minutes later I felt the "girl" stop pacing and sit on the end of my bed then drumbeat her little finger as if she's still bored... after a few minutes I was able to move but didn't want to as I didn't want it to know I was awake and aware... i did however lift my head up slowly to see as it didn't make any sense that this was actual happening; when I looked i saw indentations as if a child woth two hands were resting on the end of my bed... still needing to cover up because it ice cold I waited several minutes hoping it would get up and I could move the covers... eventually after waiting several minutes I got tired of waiting and just yanked the cover and rolled back on my right side and closed my eyes... as soon as I did I head/felt a large thump as if I just tripped a girl who was sitting on the end of my bed; my eyes shot open and i looked as I was very surprised by it; i did not see anything... rolled back over and closed my eyes and thought to myself "that doesn't make sense... how can you trip a ghost if they can walk through walls"... a few seconds after the thump happened and after I rolled back over after checking, I felt the ghost girl slap the bed hard as of it was upset that I tripped her... instantly my eyes shot open but being too tired to want to deal with it I just tried to go back to sleep but I then felt a very negative feeling/presence in my room and felt it/this ghost girl stand up then slowly start walking along/around my bed as if to confront me face to face... as the negative energy was slowly walking I could feel my skin get massive chicken as it was moving: just picture getting massive chicken on your legs gradually as a negative energy slowly moves towards the head of your bed... when it got to half way I was not going to allow it to proceed so I kick out as if to kick it back away from me... I didn't say a prayer but instead sang a slight praise song while I grabbed my iPod to play worship music while I slept to keep them away... it seemed like they were just as surprised by the entire incident as I was... the guy presence was there the whole time still just standing in the closet watching all this... I didn't feel or experience anything after I tried to kick it and put on worship music... I've had other experiences in my life and so have family members
@@jaybelle1909 I don't know if you're a believer but I used to have terrible nightmares too and had several experiences like that. I'm not a believer either but putting a Bible under my pillow does the trick for me. Everytime there's a Bible under my pillow, I never experience those things.

Sleep paralysis does not happen while you are necessarily asleep. What happens is your mind wakes up, but the signal to your body has not. The autonomic nervous system can be messed up or can be caused by Chiari malformation as well. Which, I do have both issues going on. The choking I get is from my autonomic system, not getting the nerve information to continue to breathe. Along with the sleep paralysis. So both together....,I get this being(black hat man/man wrapped in dirty cloak), but it chokes me at the same time.
Wow, that happened to me once, similar man in black cloak and hat coming from the end of the bed over me. Was so scared.

That was almost a perfect example of sleep paralysis. I used to sleep with my door open. I once saw what I thought was my dad then I said "hey dad" and the second I said dad I instantly locked up and couldn't move. I instantly knew it wasn't my dad.
If you have it again keep saying I rebuke you in the name of Jesus over and over louder and louder it will get rid of it. Things got very crazy and violent when I did this but it was over in about in a short time seconds then it was gone forever

@eclypsor777 yeah I had that same problem at first it got worse but I was like nah you ain't gonna keep coming at me like that even worse now. I figured it must mean something if it pisses it off so that's why I stood up after 15 times of it or so in the same night, I turned on the lights, went into the bathroom and started shouting it I rebuke you in the name of Jesus over and over and I could feel it getting pissed so I kept saying it over and over, louder and louder and after about 15-45 sec or so I'm not sure but not too long, all my lights in the room started going out and my damn bed started violently shaking. Nearly lifting off the floor. This scared the absolute shit out of me so I'm not gonna lie I ran out the room at this point but after that I didn't have it again for years. Unfortunately I started living pretty wrong again and something is back, I've had it one time again since then but i did the same thing this time, nothing crazy happened but I haven't had it again since. The first time, this was happening for like 14 years in my house and in no other place would it ever happen, the first thing was much stronger than this last one. I can usually fight out of it but I find if you get out of bed and honestly basically do some jumping Jack's you gotta throw those bastards off you. Much harder to stop it if you never get out of bed the whole night

I was so desperate for God to help at that point, I think the fact that I truly believed he would if I meant it is the reason it worked.
Sleep paralysis happened to me for 2 years in my old house. I would literally see scary things like this and not be able to move. One night my boyfriend who worked night shifts came home at 4AM while I was asleep on the couch and he swears that when he walked in he saw some sort of dark shadow sitting on top of my chest. He ran over and it dissipated. And then I was finally able to move and breath again. That was one of the scariest encounters I ever had at that house. Before my boyfriend got home I remember laying there on the couch and seeing a strange dark figure with a white face sitting on top of my chest. I couldn't move no matter how hard I tried.... I definitely believe in the paranormal, because that shit was ANYTHING BUT NORMAL. After my boyfriend and I broke up and I moved out I haven't had any other experiences like that. It would happen almost every single night when I lived in that house, thank God it doesn't happen anymore.

For almost 20 years, I've had no changes of sleep paralysis when sleeping at other locations and they are always boring.
@@ViaCRoz The house was a very old house. It was built in 1901. The house was very dilapidated whenever my ex boyfriend bought it. He started to remodel it a little bit. The scariest place in that house is this doorway in the basement that was literally in the middle of the wall (the bottom of that enterance/doorway was about 4ft off the ground). My boyfriend hung this giant picture (5ft × 5ft) over the doorway/entrance/whatever the heck it was for some reason. But one day I was trying to rearrange some things in the basement so I moved that picture off the wall and that is when I found the opening to that space. I opened it and it was all dirt inside with some trash, toys, and torn up paper. It freaked me out to the point where I covered it back up and started to leave the basement. As I was gathering my things that I brought down with me I heard a loud crash coming from behind that picture and i swear i heard a soft disembodied chuckle. Then it got really really cold REAL quick. I high tailed it outta there and I am happy I never went back...
I've had the same sort of sleep paralysis but with a demon-thing about the size of a 7 year old sitting on my chest, preventing me from breathing. That's great that your boyfriend could verify there was something there, and it wasn't just a sleep disorder, or whatever else 'experts' like to pretend it is.
My personal belief is that they're negative entities who feed off our energy which according to mediums, gives them energy and makes them more powerful. They could clearly kill us if they chose to, by asphyxiating us, but they don't because they need us to energise themselves. Not necessarily 'demons' but possibly just negative spirits who've refused to crossover into 'the light' for fear of being judged after their evil deeds in life, so have remained Earthbound by choice...which are essentially what the majority of all earthly hauntings are...according to several mediums I've heard, anyway. They say that we pretty much keep the same personalities after we die, so evil human beings are likely to be evil spirits as well, which all sounds strangely logical to me, after having my own little experience with one of them. We don't have basements here in Australia either, which I'm extremely glad about!!

Had it happened to me once in 2002 a naked woman with body like a female bodybuilder, but gargoyle type face! Lasted 5 mins I LITERALLY could not move, blink, or breathe. It felt like a 2 ton car was on me!
